I have lived here for 7(1999-2006) years most beautiful place, you missed a few visiting points, it's known as gangi pahadi because trees do not grow on that part of the mountain( i had the pleasure of seeing this daily for 7 yrs if the weather was good as it was the view from the window of my room). will visit soon its been long miss this place alot.

@@sandeepvemu794 Hii Sandeep. I am from Upper Shimla Region of Himachal.
There are many places to visit other than Shimla and Manali. But near to Shimla District you can visit to Kufri and Narkanda. They have best scenic views and yet less crowded. If you want to see Tibetian culture you can visit Dharamshala, Mcloedganj in Kangra District. Kasauli, Chail are another two beautiful hill stations in Solan districts.
Apart from that you can enjoy Train journey from Kalka to Shimla with new glass train and you can enjoy your journey through Vallies and Tunnels.

yes you are right... unfortunately Shimla and Manali are been overcrowded. But if you want to see real Himachal you must go to villages and off course you should try Himachali Dham there. Dham is Himachali Thali having 5-6 types of Subji with Rice and special Himachali Kadhi. I am sure you will like it.

@@pallavibarik1191 haan road toh slippery hote hai winters ma but it is safe to book a cab from dalhousie coz they had good driving experience in these conditions

1. How to go to Dalhousie from Amritsar? Any volvo type of comfortable bus or car? If car then how and from where to book in advance and charges pls
2. From where to get such heavy winter clothes on rent there as carrying such is too hectic
3. Although its not a part of your this video but pls if you could guide on how to go to Rishikesh from dalhousie?
