There are a couple areas that people were enjoying the water in various ways, like rafting and swimming, so we agree. We want to take a week long trip some time in the future and just enjoy the river the whole time.
A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to travel the Gallatin parkway for a few days and just fell in love with the area. I stayed in Bozeman a cupola of nights. I've been all over the western USA and this is definitely one of if not the top places I've seen- and I've seen some really pretty places.
Thank you guys for such an amazing trip, I was using this road a lot many, many years ago. It's one of the most beautiful places on earth for me. Hope to be back there one day...

We hope so too. We didn't want to leave. Maybe next time we're there, we'll have more time to spend on the river.
I drove on this road today after snow fell the day before. Looked like Christmas at every turn!!
