It seems to be less accurate since the barrel kinda wobbles. I'm guessing if you used the 15in it would be more accurate since it's metal.
I have a 2 piece 20 inch barrel that I run on a full auto emek I always have people laugh at just the sheer length of the barrel when I'm walking around it almost touches the ground when i hold the gun by my side

My brain goes back to the old OpsGear scenario paintball days. I am pretty sure they had a 4 or 5 inch fluted barrel. That's the shortest I remember being mass produced and not home grown
I only use shorties. They are just a bit louder with little extra base. Just as accurate as a 14 or 16

Long barrels were around 15 years ago and the thinking was the longer the barrel you'd get more distance and accuracy but when it got tested they found anything more than 16 inches creates drag and made it less accurate you can see the extra vibration how can that make it more accurate
Lowkey. I think worse accuracy may be in the players favor unless they can predict wind conditions and their markers are shooting 280 or 290 each and every shot with no variance. Eli5. Area of effect is more efficient in pb

Damn the drag on the barrel! I'd stay with the Freak barrel that's all you need 15 16 inches at the most nothing more unless you have first strike

Would have been helpful to compare shots over the chrono between the 24” and the stock barrel
I wonder what would happen if you put one of those 2 inch inserts to fit the paintball better.
I’d be more interested in chronograph speeds for a specific regulator setting… just to see if it saves gas.

Not the longest. We’ve got a brass A/C threaded barrel at the field. It’s huge! Definitely not the lightest barrel but longer than that. 😂
