Thanks for the video. No Kokona so have to switch T Yuuka to Tsubaki and hope for dodge RNG to survive. The extra 1 cost also makes it harder because I can't use Shizuko at 1:30 so have to survive another 30 seconds for the next bullet but finally done after malding like an hour.
I don't have NY Fuuka, but managed to do with S.Shiroko, I don't see much people using her in this specific EX, they always use Fuuka, but Shiroko can replace and do the job pretty easily Tho I almost gave up due to the amount of maldness in this EX, it's too much conditions for the enemies, it's not even up to you to choose anything, probably one of the worst designed EX until now, it requires just your finger endurance to keep tapping the "retry" button until the bunnies don't shot at 2:36 and shoot together at the beginning Anyway at least I got to really use for the first time in a serious mode my waifu Shizuko ❤ Aside some trials on Goz and ShiroKuro of course
so I got a bit better at placing the covers (it's far easier to do on emulator than on mobile also) and I guess I want to share some tips that kind of worked for me: - If your Mika takes the cover too much, just forget about placing it before 2:40 - instead, when the cover switch into vertical, place that as close to mika as possible a few seconds before when the bunnies start shooting (around 2:34 or 35) this makes it so that even if Mika takes the cover (sometimes she won't for some reason), it will still have enough HP to deflect the special bullets. - rinse and repeat and you will have a much better time deflecting both bullets, at least that's what worked for me. I unfortunately lost to RNG where Mika misses her Ult shots a lot and I ended up winning at 1:55 but my Yuuka died xD
Well you just need 2 clears for 3 star at that point I guess. I and another viewer notice that if you place the cover after 2:40 then the cover switch to vertical postition. So your way of doing it might make it easier.

Was gonna give up on this but I accidentally timed the missiles when placing down Shizuko's barrier even if they are vertically aligned. Also, Mika actually using the barrier made my run smoother because they always target Mika, hitting the cover. Just don't let it break by placing it too early. Doing both of these guaranteed all missiles hit Sumire made the challenge a breeze with 1:38 time left.
Yeah you can do it while the barrier is vertically aligned too, you just need to be more precise. If the barrier is vertical, there is less area for the special shots to hit because of the angle between the bunnies and the barrier.
This is just so hard. been restarting for over an hour now and been getting mixed result. sometimes the bunny fire the special bullet at different time so the cover just effective halt the time. most times they fire at 3:52 and 2:36. sometimes the cover just do nothing and let the bullet fly away.
If the cover does nothing, then either they don't have enough HP or you miss the line where they attack. If you hold a student skill to slow down time, you will see bullets coming out of the bunnies, just put the cover in the middle of the 2 lines (well the bunnies has 2 hands, so each has 2 line of attack, you need to put the cover in the middle of that). And yeah, you want to avoid them firing at 2:36.

I think the cover orientation is bugged. Even when it first appear as horizontal, the moment I place it near Mika the indicator always turns into vertical.
I've got a question. I try to shield with Shizuku to provide cover for mika and it always only removes 1 cover from boss (tried for almost 45 mins to an hr, never seen more than 1 debuff removed). Do I need to level any specific skills on Shizuku and/or level for her? I pushed her to lvl 70 and pushed EX to lvl 4 (to let cover have more hp). The cover always only removes 1 debuff from boss, should I push her to lvl 87 or that doesn't matter?
For anyone wondering, I figured it out. The cover has a flat 12,400 HP + (whatever % your EX lvl says of additional HP, for example lvl 5 is 46.8% hp. You need a minimum of 33k+ HP for it to be able to tank both bunnies. If you're only able to get 1 bunny and then it breaks, it's because you don't have enough HP on shizuko cover (and you need to upgrade her more). I pushed her EX to lvl 5 (and she's 4 star aswell, with a few T6 gear / T8 hp gear ) and that was enough for me to be able to cover from both bunnies.

Below her gear, select the Shizuko drop-down and pick Cover. Go to the Buffs tab at the top, and set her EX level (Summon: Behold, Momoyodou!) Show stats if it’s not there by toggling the Skills button.
my shizuko is only 4 star and not fully built so this is impossible for me because the cover seems to break after the first special bullet, even though I positioned it exactly like you showed in the video sadge

I did exceed the amount of cover hp with EX lvl 5 though (LVL 4 EX wasn't enough and I already leveled her to 87, you probably don't need to max her lvl if you do EX lvl 5, you can try to calculate it). probably the biggest problem in blue archive,p2w nexon doenst have trial charater like for the stages, you have to upgrade every students and as yo know for f2p player building character is costly meta character also paywalled by gacha material for leveling is rng-based,most of the time you only can farm it on limited-time event bruhh
I really hate Blue Archive's endgame content man, not even Arknight's CC mald compare to the mald of being unlucky and then messes up when you get the right composition .-.;;;

@@syaondri It's because AK operators deal fixed dmg, at least from the auto runs that I see. That's why you can create a system to get consistent clears. For BA however, the dmg your students deal is not fixed, sames go for the enemy's dmg. Plus there is random thing like the cover changing its orientation so yeah... that's why. Some games you can do it, some games you just can't. Like you can't get a similar CS:GO match every time.

@@RSRainstormBA would really benefit from having student rentals outside of raids. Most mobile games I know have the option to borrow so BA really feels like it's lacking a basic feature in that regard. I get new players would be able to cheese early content way too easily, but there's ways to work around that such as requiring a level threshold to unlock rentals outside of raids. Challenges that almost require a specific student is rather unreasonable. If I didn't have Misaki for Challenge 3 I'd probably be stuck there
@RSRainstorm I meant she takes the cover, and it blocks normal bullets, leading it to breaking. Have to time exactly as they shoot the cannon... Which is a pain
@RSRainstorm From what I see, somehow your Mika doesn't take the cover until after she uses her EX, so maybe it's specific cover placement? My Shizuko is UE40 with all equipments upgrade and EX5 still had a hard time doing it when Mika takes cover.
no offense but this video is terrible. The AI voice is talking too fast and you constantly restarting without any cut makes this unncessarily hard to understand.
What a shit mechanic. The tip didn't help much since deflect is a poorly defined mechanic. Does deflect imply reducing incoming damage? Physically deflect a projectile? Is there supposed to be a huge bowling ball like Shirokuro? Too much is left for speculation. It's good to have the tips, but they could definitely use better wording.

Which risk in AK are you doing? I think Risk18 clear in AK is consistent? Or just getting enough rewards for recent CC.

A few challenges this time can be solved if we can borrow 1 students like Arknights. So the no Assist function in this event made it hard.

Mika keeps getting into cover and helps breaking it when place too close to her.
But then if I don't place close to her it's going to miss a shot.
I don't think Mika can break the cover? Unless Sumire shoots it.
Maybe try placing Shizuko later so it doesnt take as much damage from the regular shots.
