This is a beautiful story. As a Cuban, I am very aware of what she's talking about. My family is very into Santeria. They used to do their practices on me when I was younger. I remember that feeling of heaviness she was talking about. Feeling very anxious and wanting to speak, but I couldn't... almost as if someone was holding my voice box down. It was scary. Years later, when I met my husband things changed because he introduce me to Christianity. I learned about Jesus and I surrendered my life to him. Jesus is King. HE is a redeemer! Breaking the addiction of pornography as a Christian is really tough. I have to deliver myself at least once a week to break any remaining bondages. I have a similar story, my dad was obsessed with porn and I got exposed to it at a very young age. I thought it was normal until I met my wife 4 years ago, and she’s helped me with it every step of the way. She basically had to tell me like no this isn’t normal and that I should go to church with her. I got baptized but it seemed like my problems only got more intense. Now I live a different life and we have 3 amazing children. My son won’t go through what I went through because now I lead my family through Christ and I’m in the word and applying it to my life. I go to god and Jesus Christ about everything. This fallen world we live in is so wicked and your faith has to be strong. All glory to Jesus.

I’m thankful for this woman’s testimony and glad God used her TikTok video but I really struggle with the fact that God would use social media at all because it’s so evil. I’ve just figured if you’re on there and making videos you’re a raging narcissist. I feel like God has kept me off those platforms for that reason so Him being “active” on it is just contradictory to me. But I could be wrong and just mad that God keeps me from what others get to use and thrive on. And what is the importance of being an “influencer”? That title is so gross and is basically a step away from “idol”. I’m willing to talk about this, God forgive me if I’m being nasty.
