LIRR 190th Anniversary horns on the Montauk Branch. 4/26/24

2 days after the LIRR 190th Birthday celebration, we pay tribute to the diesel horns on the LIRR. There are a variety of them and you will hear all of the different types mounted on the DE/DM30 locomotives. You will hear K5L, K5LL, K5LA, and the incomparable K5LLA horn. Spaghetti and Meatballs will direct the playing of the latter horn like maestro Arturo Toscanini to the New York Philharmonic. We captured the trains in the Bay Shore area on the busy Montauk Branch.
