abhijay tyagi - nah when he said that he was actually just hinting about his name. lorne = lawn
sesong 1 er best :)
Kat, Lorne means forsaken. This makes a lot of sense when you consider the biblical themes that permeate this show. In this show, Lorne Malvo (think MALeVOlent) has the characteristics of the devil, the forsaken angel with malevolent intent. Like the devil, he whispers in people's ear and they do bad things which disrupt the lives of those he comes in contact with; the most notable person affected is of course Lester, but then there are the two sons he pits against one another getting them to fight over who shall inherit their father's fortune and Lorne dethroning a "King," the Supermarket King. It goes on and there are more examples that show this was the artistic intent, but I hope you get the theme. It really puts the show in a different light I think.
what if you're right and they're wrong
I think he's wrong and they're wrong too.
That's when you ram your head against the wall and have a concussion.
IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT ?
Randy Orton Yes.
@@randyorton06 see you soon Lester.
The moment Lester hammered his wife, I knew I'm gonna watch the whole series.
me too , the end of season 1 episode 1 was amazing and epic . end of episode 10 was disappointing. ...
RIP L. Malvo , you are one of the best Bad guys in tv shows ...Darth Vader , King joffrey baratheon and gustavo frings are proud of you!
And RIP little Lester Nygaard! In the first episode I thought he would be the new Heisenberg, he was not such a great personality and acts like an asshole to his own family maybe he was even more crazy...He killed his first and his second wife and destroyed his brothers family ....Heisenberg had more honour and did everything for his family. But lester was still great
+Weltraumpräsidentsuperstar MChammergeil *too

fucking spoilers
efnarios It's in the 1st episode... people should expect to see spoilers in the comments section for videos like this
Give Lester more credit...
You know nothing if you say that "Heisenberg" did everything for his family. Maybe Walter White did that for his family, for only a moment at that...
In Felina, Walt tells Sky, "I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it."
Gtfo out of here with your comment.
I just realized "Fargo" in that image is actually blood coming from the guy lying down.
Wow... trippy...
Only the "F"
Also makes me want a Coke
goood...
addictedgamer05 It's actually a modified promotional scarf for the movie Argo.
Martin Freeman is such a brilliant actor.
True, but I'd say the real star was Billy Bob Thornton, who really gave the performance of a lifetime.
He really did!
I'm surprised an English actor could pull of the accent and sound convincing, Martin was able to keep it up the entire season and deliver some great moments!
And I , Billy Boy was just being himself lmao
@@Luke-qv4ph You should watch "The Young Pope" with Jude Law.
"It's already a dog-eat-dog world, I don't think that zombies are going to make a difference." Best line in the whole show.
"Still, the look on his face when I pulled that gun? Classic, huh?"

"No man..thats how dogs work"

Great music to listen to when it's snowing outside.
yup! 👍

I like your profile picture
I live in the city where the first 3 seasons of this show were filmed. Every time the first winter snow comes down, this plays in my head.
As you're burying the body.

The music for the series was very well done. Reminiscent of the film music, but also original and effective.
As the show itself ;)
yum
original???
it is basically same theme of Fargo the movie (1996) :)))))
@@HERKELMERKEL It's really not. They're both arrangements of Den Bortkomne Sauen, but this version and the movie version have very noticeable differences.

This is a true story. The events depicted took place in Minnesota in 2006. At the request of the survivors, the names have been changed. Out of respect for the dead, the rest has been told exactly as it occurred.

Is this the most underrated series ever?
Every episode is gripping & so well made!
If you observe well, the attention to detail is absolutely impeccable!
Can't believe I found this masterpiece of a show only a few weeks ago. And here I thought I knew all the best shows such as True Detective S1, The Wire, BB, GoT. This is easily in my top 3 shows and I wonder why it's never mentioned in the all time greats. Underrated af.
if you only knew what Bilbo did in this series, my dear Frodo...

Its ass, film cleara
One of the best series EVER. Acting, screenplay, music....everything.
such a underrated show, i cant find anyone to talk about its epicness with and it saddens me
no lack of GoT or WD fans, but for the really epic shows like leftovers and fargo, no one =/
Really is! Season 2 is fantastic too!
+Andrew Chen yea I'm loving it as much as one
especially Mike Milligan and the kitchen brothers
I KNOW!!
+Anthony Ferraro And Mr Robot. Very underrated show.
+Graham Gordon not Fargo nor Mr. Robot are underrated tv show since they got great ratings from critics and got awards or nominations. They both are great but not underrated

Anyone still here in 2021 listening to this beauty?
In 2022
I watched the first season today, 10 hours straight, worth it, holy shit this is good! Gonna watch the first episode of the second season now!
+EminAnimE1 The second season is just as good, each episode just gets better and better.
I've just finished the second series, it is outstanding television, simply superb....enjoy.
For me season 1 was far better ...I did not like Molly and her family but I was a lester and malvo fanboy , the characters were more interesting and u always feared that they will kill them off ... Besides I liked mr.wrench and mr.numbers....second season hadnt the same tension and I only cared about hank .... They should maybe focuse on less characters as in the first season. ...I mean we only have 10 Episodes so it is less time to identify with the characters. ...very different to breaking bad , got or the walking dead that has enough time to introduce all characters with their Problems. ...
***** Ye I've seen it, as soon as I started it I just binge watched it haha, yeah, indeed, this show is a masterpiece.
You have a point. but I like the variety, maybe if they do another they go to an even bigger scope. or possibly smaller. I honestly thought it would be hard to top season 1, but in many ways I think they did. I enjoyed seeing all the different cop uniforms and its good to see Tim Mcmanus getting work
This the most haunting and chilling theme song I've ever heard and the violin solo is beautiful
Freeman and BBT delivered Emmy worthy performances 👌👌
"Lester, is this what you want?"
"Yes"
* proceeds to shoot all the three people in the elevator *
Just finished the first season... "Is this what you want?... YES OR NO!" I absolutely enjoyed it!
It's so beautiful I just want to cry! This show is the best show I've seen all year! It's amazing and I wish to watch the whole thing again!
Nia Lewis I'm in total agreement with you! The theme music gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes and the show; I am still in utter awe of how they made such an AMAZING series! (Season 1 in particular. The best.) ❤
Best show to come across... holy crap the story line is amazing. Can’t believe it took me so long to watch
I'm so happy that season 2 is great. This theme song is also fantastic.
Best soundtrack! Martin played Lester wonderfully, I can't believe I thought he wouldn't be able to play that dark of a character!
Was a pleasant surprise for me as well. You can just see Lester's humanity slip away as the episodes go by...
alex ' No, you see him become MORE human as the episodes go.
damn, that was deep.
This is one of the best television shows. All seasons are consistently great on story, acting and production quality.
Fun fact: The Fargo theme played at the end of Archer S6 Ep 4 "Edie's Wedding". (Archer and Fargo are both made by FX )
Holy shit I actually went to check and you’re 100% right, I’m fucking floored
"Because some roads you shouldn't go down. Because maps used to say 'There be dragons here.' Now they don't. But that don't mean that the dragons aren't there." - Lorne Malvo

These are one of the best TV series I've ever seen, love it, class.
I finished the Fargo series way too fast and after months this theme is still stuck in my head. One of the few series that was on my high priority list. The ending of the first episode in the first season will literally throw you on a wild ride.
Still alive
just finished season 2 fucking amazing. kirsten dunst was brilliant
I never knew Saul Goodman ever was a police officer ;-)
Bob oderkirk is a top notch actor...
Not even surprised when I saw him in another epic show...
Reminds me of christmas and winter. Absolutely love the show. The feel of it
the best ive ever watched but i like 1. season most
"Maps used to say there'd be dragons here, but now they don't
But, that don't mean the dragons aren't there"
Lorne Malvo has some raw lines but that's gotta be in my top three.
Line goes "The maps used to say.." but its ok I guess
“Don’t question the universe. Sometimes, things might workout.”
This is the most beautiful theme. It gives me goosebumps!
Great soundtrack, GREAT movie, but the show is something unique.
Got the chills when they played this at the end of season 2.
....maps used to say, "There be dragons here." Now they don't. But that don't mean the dragons aren't there...
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
what if you're right ... and they're wrong :D
Season 1 was epic. Simply epic. I remember watching it in 2018.. And not to mention.. It's iconic title theme..
I first heard this theme at a documentation, a series called GALILEO. They filmed about an australian mine where the whole area was contaminated by asbest (or arsen?). It feels sad, melacholic whith the setting in an empty abandoned small city. The music was so intense I searched what and from where it is. Thats how I came to Fargo. And jesses, what a great first season
This theme feels so familiar, yet oddly unique. Can't put my finger on what it's reminding me of.
Harvey K It kind of reminds me of the Legend of Zelda franchise.
Harvey K maybe the last of the mohicans
Harvey K its Hans Zimmer Injection...start at 2:00
Also, you have already heard this if your Norwegian.
It sounds like Westworld a bit
I'm a drum n bass fan and this music still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Not to mention one of the best TV programmes ever made. Absolutely first rate, every season
Malvo's death broke my heart. Frickin' loved that character.
It's a red tide, Lester. This life of ours.
One of the best shows ever..............
If you love Fargo, go and play some of "This is the police 2". Moodwise these two are very close, you can definetely tell it from the soundtrack. You won't be disappointed.
The best first episode of TV ever
One of the best series of the world! Each season is a masterpiece yet :)
I almost always watched end titles because of that theme... ;-)
Depressing. Epic. Simple.
sums about right, right?
Billy boy was literally pure magic
I love 0:52 so so much. It gives me chills.
I most love the first 20 seconds
I am a lover of beautiful music; this piece is added to my other favorites, "somewhere in time" "the young and the restless" "autumn leaves" "europa" and many others, Hearing it makes my soul peacefully happy. Thank you for the masterpiece JR.
This is very nice but if you never heard the theme from opening scene of the original movie, then do yourself a favor and listen to it. Its beautiful & haunting at the same time, that sends chills down your spine.
thank you, I have heard it, it is lovely
witnessing someone appreciate music this much feels like the cold side of a pillow in a world of oppressive layers of blankets

I think it might be a viola actually but hard to tell tbh
Just beautiful.

I love this song so much. I wonder if they will keep this for season 2.
they did haha
Cette série !!😩💙
I fucking love this theme.
Perfect theme for an award-winning TV series. It captures the mood of the place that I am very familiar with. I live in rural Minnesota, where the winters are long and cold, the winds are always gusty, and the prairies are wide open.
Not gonna lie, when my home was burning down this is the exact song that played in my head as it happened.
Thanks! for uploading.
“Is this what you want Lester?”
fargo season 1 is a masterpeice of cinematic art.
Agreed
Love it. Probably one of the best theme songs ever.
This is a true story...
This show is absolutely amazing. The comedy is timed so well that it seems untimed.
This show is included in my top 10 tv series
This just heard on Archer 6x04 "Edie's Wedding". I knew it was familiar and all of a sudden it clicked and I came here to confirm.
same here
As did I.
I did the same as well, maybe because Allison Tolman (Deputy Molly Solverson) played Edie or because they're both FX or maybe due to the location of the Episode or all three. Or the whole Barry/ Lorne Malvo thing...
I absolutely loved every single season. And when I found out Chris Rock was going to be in season 4. I was officially hooked. But this track is so beautiful n melancholy at the same time. I can't even put into words how the show and the music together are just absolutely epic!!!
What a unique serie
Wow i love this song ! it's great song!
Fargo is the best short series “season one”
Makes me cry every time I hear it
This is a true story.
Incredible show! Amazing music!
Season 3 just came out! I love this show! So epic! They are killing it again!
this theme is so memorable i love it
Awesome
In the ending of episode six or seven, after watching my mind being blown, they cut right to the ending with of course the theme song. Perfect way to end that episode leaving you in disbelief while you hear instruments in the background of your brain, while trying to process what just went down. Amazing FX series!
simply great
