Hey Kenny are you planning to do a transmission fluid change soon?
Yes, I have been looking into that and the rear diff fluid also.
What would you recommend for brand of ignition coils?
Hi, safe to say that the specified plugs from NGK are pre-gapped and we don't need to gap it?
hey! i’ve done my plugs twice and both times they were to spec, even on their product description it is to spec. the only thing is that someone may have returned the product and messed with the gapping or the plugs didn’t come with the little cardboard protector. i’d says probably won’t need to check but it doesn’t hurt to be cautious also 👍🏼
Is this your daily? Would you say it’s a recommend vehicle. What are the big or any issues this yr or model has if any.
Hey, yes it is my daily. It really depends on your needs and expectations. Some people on facebook groups expect this to use unleaded gas and don't want to pay for premium octane and even complain about mpgs. Of course this is not a race car nor a gas saver but still does well in both categories. For this generation IS the biggest problem everyone has encountered would have to be the front inner tire wear due to the soft lower control arm bushings. But this can be replaced/upgraded to correct it. the 4cyl turbo model has a vacuum regulator problem where the vehicle would surge while accelerating but updated regulator and hose is the fix. Also if you are into modifications its very very limited on performance mods. Downpipe makes it smell like fumes because of no cats obviously and tuning capabilities could be better. Currently have 110k miles and haven't had any major issues. I've just done the maintained required on the manual and its been treating me well. Hope this helps.
I have 200t aswell , u recommend getting new plugs ? Big difference?
youre supposed to change them every 40k miles according to the owners manual. turbo motors will burn them faster. it does increase mpg and will increase performance but not a big difference.
No anti seize on the plugs?? 😢
Lexus/Toyota does not use it. The OEM plugs used are coated to prevent corrosion
Do you drive highway a lot? You got almost double my mpg but I drive strictly city lol
yeah lol i drive like 45 miles one way for work 😅
