Definitely some game design issues, and a LOT of bugs. But I think with enough tweaks and additions it will eventually be great. Give it a few months to a year.
I was skeptical at first, but watching gameplay this doesn't look like a bad game. But... constant hud elements? zombie types? an open world? extraction shooter mechanics? It may not be a bad game, but it's not NMRiH.
Man, ammo are so plentiful...like, the player was easily carrying 200+ worth of mixed ammunition. Ammunition were scarce and precious in the 1st game and you had to use guns sparingly... ...also due to the weight system, you couldn't carry EVERYTHING and had to prioritize. Yes, you could carry 90+ rounds but that meant you were carrying the gun, ammo and NOTHING else.
This i s actually the best gameplay ive seen so far. I can actually see the vision and appreciate the scenery and mechanics. The game shouldve never been released in the state it was, its still bad. This is an evolution of NMRiH with a semi hunt showdown formula, i get it. Just isnt what i and many other people had in mind for a sequel to the game. Good upload, ill eventually get the game. This video just helped with a thought of my feelings towards this game. One thing i can say and love is the way the zombies look and sound lol, absolutely LOVE that direction they took.
As someone who played it and asked for a refund, I strongly advice against playing the game right now. Wait for the first big patches at least, right now it's a barely functioning poorly running mess
@@NYNCD It pains me to admit those faults because I was a fan of the first game and was eagerly waiting for the sequel, but they have Overwhelmingly Negative reviews on Steam for a reason right now. It needs a few months just to be playable with enjoynmnt rather then frustration on the gameplay side, and during all this time they will have to shift focus from making new content to fixing what they have. Lose-lose situation, buying it now is just unreasonable
@@bizon4129 I’m gonna continue to give it a chance, it actually feels like nnrih’s original vision with some things missing ofc. But the formula is literally there
It's different, in a harder way. Each zombie dies from 3 hits on every weapon aside from Matchete I think, and you have stamina for exactly 3 heavy attacks (you can't hold them however much you want in 2, it's fixed time). So you need a break after every kill, prolonging the killing process. Zombies can also leap at you now if they have a distand of a few meters with no obstacles, so you have to be more aware even of the normal zombies, can't turn your back on them. Also there's new type of zombie, red eyded, that have a lot more health and are resistant to flinching from attacks, making them very hard to kill in melee. TLDR even 6 zombies grouped up pose a significant threat, so searching for players is an optimal way to play. Sadly the horrendous desync and attack reactions take the melee system down a notch
As much as it looks cool, I can’t view this as a proper follow-up to No More Room In Hell. The idea of finding and teaming up with survivors on the field is cool, it removes a lot of what made the original unique. Having just one map with one primary objective (even with dynamic secondary objectives) could get repetitive fast…😮
i didnt ask for this but the recommendation did so i hope you have a good day one day
Im going to wait a bit for the Devs to iron out the kinks ive seen. but i will get this game
What kinks? 🤨
I'm going to do what you are doing. I'm going to wait for the devs to patch up the bugs and stuff like that and add a bit more before I buy the game
The original devs are going back to work on the first game already! This game doesn't resemble NMRIH any more. IT'S NOT NO MORE ROOM IN HELL.
@@gyanprakash7445 good this game will never come close to what the original is

Yeah but the first one sucked imo
The atmosphere is top notch but the gameplay is ROOOOOOUGH. Thanks for showing it uncut though
This actually looks like it'll be pretty cool when they patch it up

Best gameplay I've seen so far with a little bit of bugs here and there. I'll probably wait one more week and then give it a try..😅

@glibchubik4090 thanks for your input. I will consider holding off longer..

Its going to need a lot of work to get it to the level of quality the first game has in terms lf gameplay but there is a lot of promise here
For what consoles available?

why do they make everything slow motion type shit.
Because this is what a "lore accurate" Zed style game should feel like.
you're humans, not space marines
Whaaa whaaa why can't I sprint at the speed of sound like in fortnite whaaa whaaaa
my boy, have you run/hike with complete camping gear? (not the same but almost same weight), it takes his toll and you cant run so fast.
Nah,sourcemod better
