That’s an excellent question. Stores in the UK are closed as we’re in lockdown AGAIN so I’ll have to wait for them to reopen. There is a discovery set on the Dior website but it’s very expensive and not sure I want to splurge on that...
I’ve fallen in love with floral fragrances in the last year. So my favorite house lately has been Frederic Malle but I recently tried Delina Excusif. It’s a beautiful scent that I think any man could rock, even though it’s targeted towards women.

I am happy to see a video about unisex perfumes as a guy who dislike traditional masculine scent. I also own Bal D’Afrique (my mood-lifting elixir), a few more from Byredo and Le Labo. Nice to see people who also enjoy those scents and desperately want to try out some from your recommendation list (Peau de Pierre/Perfect Oud). I think Oud and Bergamot from Jo Malone and Lys Mediterranean from Frederic Malle are also excellent unisex fragrances.

Im a guy and I think that alot of the colognes ive smelled have a rather strong dry-down and i like the dry down of the old bvlgari pour homme, and nothing has smelled as pleasant and warm as that so far. I'm looking to get a more neutral leaning scent to wear around. This video was awesome.

Great selection. I have owned bal d'afrique -along with blanche and gypsy water- for over a month now and I love it. It lasts all day on me. Tardes is not featured here but I finally had a chance to try it and wow did it take me back to childhood and my barbie dolls! It smells exactly like how you describe. I really enjoy it and will buy a full size.
Never hear someone talk about this one, and I don't know why. Had a sample, went through it, love it❤️ Perris Monte Carlo Bois D'Oud. So masculine and feminine at the same time! Get your nose on it 🌹💋
Hi Josephine In my opinion most fragrances are unisex and yes there are fragrances to tend more to the feminine side and others more to the maskulin side, but the strict separation is actually just marketing. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 is a good example, it is unisex but tend a littlebit to the feminine side, but all in all it's a great fragrance for men and the ladys (Tiziana Terenzi Spirito Fiorentino is the Baccarat Rouge with a more maskulin touch, but also perfect unisex). I’m gonna try Ocean Leather and Benzoin Boheme after you recommending them. These 2 are very interesting to me but it’s hard to find sample of Benzoin Boheme. I also just discovered ATH perfumes are also very nice especially Onyx if you love oud. It contains very concentrated natural oud that is so good. Thanks for the list Josephine! 💕

@@jusderose you really have to try. Despite if you like the scents of ATH, they are really high quality especially the ones with Oud like Onyx. It contains high quality and concentrated Oud at reasonable price. So worth a try. Onyx is jammy rose with chocolaty patchouli and plum and with strong Oud at the same time. Also great performer.
Can you review the brand Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier, even though it’s a male fragrance I fell in love with Santal noble(I love sandalwood). I would love to know what you thought about the rest of the house.

Casmir by Chopard, Clara by Revlon and Shalimar by Guerlain. I own all 3 and they’re great for men to wear even though they’re marketed towards women. Scent has no gender.
I wear Opium and Shalimar and Black Orchidfor years and more recently Black Opium andPortrait Of A Lady,. My wife and I have never believed that fragrance has a gender.

Really enjoyed this would love to see more unisex suggestions! I tend to gravitate to unisex scents but can't choose a fav really. Both myself and my girl both dig BR540 and others inspired by it like Instant Crush and Sensual Instinct, also just tried Electimuss Trajan which is very close to 540 more so than the other 2 I mentioned it just has a more citrusy opening. Do u find Tonka 25 similar to Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Dore? I've heard they r similar but havent tried either. Thanks a lot. - Colin P.S. I finally tried Gentle Fluidity Silver and it is really nice! I have the 35ml of Gold may need to do the same with Silver. Just love MFK! Grand Soir and all 3 Aqua Forte scents r wonderful too!! Take care!
MFK is such a gorgeous brand isn’t it?! So many good quality perfumes. As for Tonka 25 it smells nothing like bois doré (which I also own) two completely different olfactive profiles. Le labo website do offer samples that you can purchase, best thing to do is order one from there and test it on your skin 😊
Hmmm.....nudge me in the right direction...Angels Share or Oajan? Sampled Angel Share, liked it but if Oajan is close in profile I would opt for that as it’s reasonable priced on discounter sites which makes the 125ml looks like better value. What’s says Jus?
I think it really comes down to a matter of personal preference. I prefer Angels share, it works better with my skin chemistry than Oajan. Best is to get some samples and make your decision then 😊

Roja Dove's birth name is Roger, so it should probably be pronounced the same? My favourite unisex will forever be Guerlain Jicky. Not that fragrances back in 1889 had gender labels. Before then they were mostly insipid floral waters or eaux de colognes. And obviously not worn on your skin. We're not grandes horizontales!

Generally there is no gender discrimination on nich fragrances, u have included few nich.

What are your thoughts on Bulgari Black? I brought it to add to my collection but I wasn't that Impressed with the juice. I do like the presentation though. I've been loving CK All lately. It's a freshness monster, so clean! A video on layering scent profiles would be really interesting.

Hi James! I really enjoy Bulgari Man in Black. It’s such a seductive scent and highly addictive. Of course this is very subjective! I haven’t tried CK All though. Btw I do have a video on layering, just search jus de roses layering on UA-cam and you’ll find it 😊

Really enjoyed this would love to see more unisex suggestions! I tend to gravitate to unisex scents but can't choose a fav really. Both myself and my girl both dig BR540 and others inspired by it like Instant Crush and Sensual Instinct, also just tried Electimuss Trajan which is very close to 540 more so than the other 2 I mentioned it just has a more citrusy opening. Do u find Tonka 25 similar to Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Dore? I've heard they r similar but havent tried either. Thanks a lot.

P.S. I finally tried Gentle Fluidity Silver and it is really nice! I have the 35ml of Gold may need to do the same with Silver. Just love MFK! Grand Soir and all 3 Aqua Forte scents r wonderful too!! Take care!
MFK is such a gorgeous brand isn’t it?! So many good quality perfumes. As for Tonka 25 it smells nothing like bois doré (which I also own) two completely different olfactive profiles. Le labo website do offer samples that you can purchase, best thing to do is order one from there and test it on your skin 😊

Hmmm.....nudge me in the right direction...Angels Share or Oajan? Sampled Angel Share, liked it but if Oajan is close in profile I would opt for that as it’s reasonable priced on discounter sites which makes the 125ml looks like better value. What’s says Jus?
I think it really comes down to a matter of personal preference. I prefer Angels share, it works better with my skin chemistry than Oajan. Best is to get some samples and make your decision then 😊

I decided to get a sample of Angel's Share by Kilian because you were raving about the fragrance and when I wore it, my girlfriend decided to break up with me. Thanks a lot Josephine! My favourite unisex will forever be Guerlain Jicky. Not that fragrances back in 1889 had gender labels.
Before then they were mostly insipid floral waters or eaux de colognes.
