Look, I get it. The Sans fight is iconic. It's the most difficult boss fight in the game. But, why do people make Undyne the Undying out to be chump change. When, she in fact, is the literal first obstacle of the Genocide Run. Like, seriously. Genocide only has 2 hard bosses. One is Punny man Sans, while the other is the one with the most health, second hardest fight, and down right greatest track name of all time. The World Refused To Die which transitions into the headbanger that is, Battle Against A True Hero. Because, On Genocide, WE are the villain, and UNDYNE is the Hero. So, why do people always brush off Undyne's Genocide battle, and focus more On Sans. Yes, Sans' fight is iconic, I get that. But, I knew about that fight going into Undertale. I was expecting everyone else to be cannon fodder. But, nope. Once I reached Undyne, I got hit so hard and so fast my head spun in real life.

My man literally sit and watched everyone die just because he doesn’t care until he had to do his job.
Undyne or Mettaton would be more fitting.

​@@BruhTNT4258 It's not that he doesn't care, it's that firstly, it's his promise that limits him (since he himself states that if it weren't for the promise he would have already killed Frisk) and the other is that killing Frisk wouldn't mean anything Frisk will always come back and come back and even if he wins there is a chance that no one will come back since Frisk's soul breaks he only fights here because the timeline is in danger if he doesn't intervene everything will be erased forever so technically he is a hero.

No it doesn’t, Sans is not the hero type, he watch as everyone die just because he knows the human’s abilities. He resembles RETRIBUTION making the human pay what they deserve, not heroism. Undyne or Mettaton who ACTED to do the right thing knowing they’ll fail are Heroes, not Sans.
