The Finish band are just dressing like most finish rock and metal bands dress but Måneskin are dressed like they raided David Bowies wardrobe lol.

I was active in the Finnish music scene in the eighties when makeup and clothes were crazy. It was Hanoi Rocks that started it in Finland. Maybe Blind Channel should hire a costume designer, the black tradition has been around for too long.

Finn here - I know Eurovision can be silly sometimes but I love how it can also bring our countries closer together. I'm feeling a lot of mutual respect and admiration between Finland and Italy right now. Måneskin deserved the win and I'm happy that Blind Channel did so well in the public vote. Cheers!

I remember when Maneskin won at Sanremo and I was thinking: "Yes, they will win ESC because no one else is bringing rock to Eurovision". Then I saw some tweets about italian fans who were concerned about Finland and I was so worried of this competitor but then thought "f*** it, we will beat them!". Little did I know back then that Italy and Finland ended being bffs and loving each other. That was so nice to see!

I would like to let the European public know something to make them understand how much these guys are much more than just musicians: at the Italian song festival in Sanremo after the performance of each artist traditionally flowers are given to women (only to women). This year Victoria gave flowers for her to the men in the group because she felt that giving flowers only to women was a kind of gender discrimination while she demanded gender equality. On the last night of the festival, men also got flowers after 70 years. I found this gesture important and above all that such a young girl did it (to be honest I must say that Francesca Michielin did it too and since they are friends they probably decided it together).

2 rock songs this year, both of them made it to the final, and one of them is the winner, I'VE NEVER BEEN PROUDER OF EUROPE'S MUSIC TASTE
(i know italy is an automatic qualifier but still, the fact that they send a rock song instead of a ballad was great)
What I loved about this year's edition of Eurovision is that there were MANY potential winners, because there were MANY bops. Besides, I could somehow feel that everyone was really supportive of one another regardless of the music genre they were bringing to the table. The competition seemed to be what mattered the least and the artists genuinely seemed to have had fun. One of the most thrilling, uplifting editions of the contest for sure.

I'm from Finland and I voted Italy, so happy that they won 🖤🇮🇹, because we didn't. I was thrilled when our boys get those 218 points from the public. I knew that they won't win, but 6th place is almost the winning place for us, after too many blaah... years. Our finnish boys 🇫🇮 did show the real sportmanship while cheering Italy's victory and they were not fake. Erano e sono sportivi! They shoul'd be a role model to France.

I feel like this years eurovision wasn’t a competition, I feel like it was just a big big big party around the europe.
I'm from Sweden and I liked Finlands song more but I am very happy for Italy since they have not won Eurovision since 1990 and in the last few years they have been so close! Also they seems like awesome people.
I mean Finland got totally screwed over by the jury. At least Italy didn't get screwed over too hard and the televotes did actually save the day
