  • Jeremy McGrath is the King of Supercross. With 72 wins and 7 championships he stands alone as the man inside a stadium. Obviously I am a lifelong fan of MC but it wasn't until recently we got to hang out at Mammoth Motocross where I got to see the secret to all of his success. He really love riding his dirtbike.

I had a sweet hole shot at a hare scramble in Ohio that had like 80 riders in it. It helped that I always had a good start at my local races for sure. But I never expected to do it at a dead start 80 rider lineup. Was a great feeling. 30 minutes later my rear sprocket came apart because the sprocket bolts had vibrated loose. DNF

Great interview, always like hearing from JM. Seems like yesterday watching him race 250cc supercross at the Indianapolis Hoosier Dome when he was getting booed by the majority of crowd due to the crowd lean to in state suprecross rider Mike LaRocco,. Mike was coming back from an injury (broken arm?) and did a solo parade lap on the track while the sound system in the dome blasted Aerosmith "Back In the Saddle ". JM won the 250cc class that night and I told everyone I went to watch the race with he's special. They wouldn't have any of it the time, they liked Damon Bradshaw and Jeff Matiasevich (Chicken). I think around mid 1995 they were all over JM, in my opinion he was to supercross what Micheal Jordan was to NBA in the 90's.

He was the original focal point for FMX and the dumb ass was too ignorant to eliminate using the F bomb and other choice curse words when the microphone was in his face. After just one TV show the networks dropped FMX coverage for a number of years. Thank You Metal Mulisha

Mulisha as a “brand” is still around and owned by Brian and Larry. 95% of the “Mulisha Family” riders still have name recognition to this day. Hell even the core Mulisha supporters had a split years back when Larry and Brian had a falling out over Brian making it more corporate and Larry wanting it to stay “core” to what it started and was meant to be.

The amount of pain and suffering Brian Deegan has endured to go another route should never be looked over, did 360s went to hell and back and still can ride all hemmed up.I can't believe Jeremy can even pedal a bike let alone line up for moto after his surgeries.
Who empties these guy bed pans, seems nobody remembers the injuries associated with riding.I couldn't stand to put my kids on the cold steel operating table. Instead of building death machines, the whole sport should work on safety gear and more manageable machines instead of inflated egos and quick cash kids.
Remember NASCAR put a limit to engine displacement before it was an unobtainable family pass time, that's what's happening now in moto.

The big Sponcers took the fun out at first hrc fmf pro circuit boysen Henson chaperall all cool and free riders them selfs then other sponsors steped in and turn it to nasscar that's why some guys in nasscar and stuck to the dirt roads roots. Tired into a job not a ride like a hrc prolink riding in boxers and tennis shoes not a fire proof suit man. Wasn't about racing hiting jumps and jusr letting go and work weekdays jusr for a new rear fender. Then fired for riding and just letting go being a stress relief and so. Fox Thor is still in it axo answer O'Neil got pushed out the sponsor turned to drug test what time and when you ride no fun riding if you ger hurt you can't fly the sponsor. Bell Troy Lee you don't even see no more. You see it happening in the NFL the good players get run off because they tackle. Not trying to hurt anyone but in racing or sports that's a chance. You can't wear that nked coed shirt is to obscene. You can't wear you caterpillar hat why they built the track. No you don't meet ama standards even if you now how to work on them good fu in my boxer shorts. Disclaimer not selling or marketing names are just motorcycle talk. The thing about is not what you know is who you know the drug test only app) to few and pick and choose who gets them and who don't they want rides to be someone they are not as far as image and bs. It turned in to a incrowd thing your in or your not and smoking a joint or drinking a beer while working on your own stuff is not party image just independent image but that not welcome sell your kid for a monster hat. The guy in the cat wears his because he runs equipment for a job and rides to keep his mind sharp and just to let go for a bit jusr you and a ride thar you paid 700 dollars for and work on it your self when not riding working on equipment and rockhammers ect. Not talking chit on riders at all but sponsors that don't know nothing about riding. Image image image. Work 12hr shifts ride when you can and even be your own medic independent thank God for Johnson and Johnson. No offense to showtime great rider at one time you was the bad guy as well arr on your helmet and cool the corporate got to involed and push the private and independent out then you can't have that skull and feathers on your helment show time turned into 1 800 man I'd been like 1800 sx mf kx Chevy why that's the truck I drive to work and hauled this 2stroke. Scratches and all from were I leaned the bike on it few dents in the tail gate from loading it
