Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your curiocity. For my opinion the salt preserved and pickled chilies keep the best taste and the aroma. Other can loose the spiciness slowly after sometime. I hope it help.
Thanks for the tips. Think dried is most easy (in summer). Don't know about the freezer. I did bought some turmeric frozen. Preparing them for dinner they where socked from water and fluffie structure 🙄
My habanero plant is producing peppers like crazy. Your tips will help me greatly.

Don't let them thaw too much before Using. Use straight away. I use them on my daily cooking so it doesn't last long anyway
How long will they keep after you jar them with salt?
To be honest I keep them until it finishes.
Why do the chillies in brine need to be kept in fridge?
Just to slow the pickling process down
