    At 3:06 he had that les paul screaming ive never heard anything like it this is what sets slash apart from other players he can switch to any style at anytime mixing hard rock with blues and a spanish style id buy a album with just slash solos on it!!

    My family came over one night and i had this dvd playing and my dad was laughing he said look at that guys hair he looks like a freak then this solo came on nobody said a word my dad sat there and after the solo ended he asked whats his name? I told him slash he then said well slash is just badass he looked past the hair and cloths and seen pure talent

    this jam starts at the end of 'Double Talkin' Jive' with a kinda Spanish feel to it-really nice. then Mr. Slash breaks into a cool blues riff, barely accompanied, and ends on the riff from 'Voodoo Child', of course. the song that u can hear the 1st few notes of as it ends is Civil War.

      Hendrix was also a pioneer on the way, but it’s hard to deny slash’s finesse with the thing. He views it as a separate instrument and it’s obvious in his playing

    Ok..then....
    I had the privilege of listening to/as blues ball beginning at about 11 AM on a first date is on a first date down in a small venue in Seattle that no longer exists....
    And awesome night I actually don't know when it ended there were so many songs the relationship ended but not for another year and a 1/2.... And it was a great deal as a whole

    Slash uses Voodoo Chile/Child from Jimi Hendrix before he starts on Civil War. I'm not sure if he used it the whole tour...but I've seen him done that on some other clips.

    @hendrix01993 try to learn the minor scale first. Then listen and play by ear without tabs. This is a solo improv, its meant to be played spontaneously and not tabbed. once you learn the scale, practice a few times and you'd be able to do it with no tabs. trust me, been there done that (tabs). you only get better without them.

    Dutch ESFchannel assuming your guitar is tuned to concert 440 f sharp a minor blues scale oe e major bles scale theres a change of scale type when flamencoing and in the last section too if you know scale to style you open 5 possible combinations of scales

    he uses the EMB wah wah pedal, a special modified wah that he and kirk hammet is famous for having used during the 1990's. he doesn't use a rack-mounted dunlop crybaby as many seems to think..

      @Kullervo 11 is on the thicker side wym? 8 and 9 is thin. 12 is usually the max unless you really wanna go heavy, but standard tuning would not work with 14
