Loved the results you got!🧡 I've been using this blow dryer a little over 2 years now. For both me and my 7 yr old. We are both 4a/4b/4c throughout both our heads. Absolutely no heat damage and no split ends. Even though I dont cut our hair. It's super soft and this is the longest my hair has ever been. Almost to my bottom. My daughters hair is to her bottom. I used to stretch with no heat, dont have time now. I am a wife and homeschooling our 3 children. We are always busy. I'm so thankful for this blow dryer! The bristles on ours are worn out, I'll be purchasing a new one soon.

I know this comment was a year ago, but I'm starting to learn how to look after my own natural hair (tired of braids and wigs) inbetween blow drys, how do you keep your hair I guess blowed out? Or do you not? Like do you moisturise it and comb it out etc?
After watching this video I went out and bought the hair dryer the same day! My hair is 4c and my daughter is 3b/c so I figured it would do great on hers. I had some heat damage last year so I was very nervous about trying this since I am trying to maintain hair health. Let me just say, WOW. Of course, as predicted it worked amazing on my daughter's hair and I was equally impressed with my own results. The most impressive part was my arm didn't hurt because it took less than half of the time to dry my hair. It didn't feel dried out (I used a heat protectant). Bottom line I am IMPRESSED!
Yup, that blow dryer definitely works much much better when the hair is almost dry or dry.. that's how I have been using it and it works wonders. .. I have used once a month for the past four months and my hair has no heat damage so far so fingers crossed it stays that way hahaha.. your hair is super gorg and look at that growth 😍😍
How about length retention? I normally do wash n go's but I'm tired of keeping up with the maintnence and also tired of shrinkage. I have this blowdryer and want to become a blow dry natural but I'm afraid it will mess with my length retention and curl pattern.
Ive been using it for about year I received it as a requested gift for my bday last year...I use it approx. once a month - once every 2 two months...I love it and I have not noticed any heat damage,,thanks for the update
I just started doing this technique on my daughter, cool then hot and it did make her hair feel softer and straighter than just hot only. This blow dryer is amazing 👍🏽
I purchased the blow dryer back in December of last year but have been using it often in the last couple of months. Since my first time using it I now use a leave in and a heat protectant. I like to blow dry when my hair is not soaking wet. I like to start with low heat for a few strokes and while mainly using the cool setting. I will hit the section with a few seconds of hi heat as well for sleekness. I do go back and forth between the tension method and running the dryer through each section. After cutting like 12 inches of heat damage during my heat damage transition I’m scared of getting heat damage. This is my first time using heat to style in 6 years and my hair hasn’t suffered due to using the dryer. I still have my curl pattern and texture. I mainly have short pieces because my hair is growing back from postpartum shedding. I love this dryer.

I'm pretty sure this won't work for my 4c hair. I can't get it detangled enough before blow-drying/brushing. I'd have a ball of hair after doing that. I'm pretty sure I heard my hair laugh at her quick detangle with that comb.
You took everything out of my head in this comment ! Made my job easy by simply liking the comment ! - Kinda like how when i buy this in the future I wont have to wait days HAHA
@@JaneileCudjoe I have 4c hair if you twist your hair and let it dry. After it has dried it is much easier to go through with it with the blow dryer. Janeile Cudjoe-Myers : on the UA-cam search bar type in: chizi duru revlon blow dryer. Watch the first video. She was the first one I saw use this blow dryer and she's 4c. It worked well for her.

I know Whitney has her own styles, but I find that blow dried stretched hair is an AWESOME base for doing bantu knot outs!! It's also a good base for halo/crown twists & braids, and super dressed up updos!
I have been SLEEEEP on this blow dryer....Once I saw you and OnlyOne Jess obsessed with it, I had to try it and OMG... It gets your hair straight enough to trim your ends evenly. I also like the heat damage prevention steps you shared...I got mine and it was amazing.. Thank you.
Awesome video! 🙌🏽 I’ve been using that exact duo for almost one year, since January 1, 2018 (the Revlon paddle brush dryer plus the Aveda Brilliant heat protectant) and I have experienced zero heat damage! My #anomtip (as you mentioned too), is to start on clean damp hair, never soaking wet hair. I use the #aquis turban & towels to plop the majority of water and excess product from my hair before beginning a blow out or any heatless curl former set. Your hair is flawlessly gorgeous sis!!! 🍃

Yes, I bought this hair dryer and it's gold. Love it!! Really works. Takes the pain out of spending several more hours on top of the hours you already put into the preceding steps lol.
Love it, love it! Been using for about 6 mo also. No heat damage so far, no extra breakage from it, when I go curly, they still pop. Use it about the same as you 3 weeks off and on. Beautiful as always.
I was using it to blow dry my hair like maybe once every month or two, my curly hair was ok because I was deep conditioning but it did seem a little dull after a while so I’ve been taking a lil break from it but I still have it and will def use it if necessary. What I wasn’t doing were protein treatments so definitely keep up with The brand Aphogee or whatever. Because it is an effective blow dryer you want to make sure your wash day routine has a moisture/protein balance. So keep a good protein treatment that you like on deck.
I just used the blow dryer for the second time. No heat damage. I used it for the first time six months ago. I love it. Haven't blow dried my hair since 2016 (because of heat damage).
That one step hair dryer brush is amazing! Aveda's Brilliance line is awesome - I 'woke' up on that a while ago! Your hair is thriving and gorgeous Whitney
After your first review I bought this thing and LOVED IT!!! Try the Kenra Blow Dry Spray, not only does it help dry your hair faster but it’s a heat protectant too.
Hi Ms. Whitney. I have the same blow dryer. I love it! It helps because I have arthritis in my hands. Once again you have taught me a different way to use it along with different products that I bought at Sally’s. Will try it out when it’s “take care of the situation”, that’s what my daughter calls it when it’s time to wash the hair-LOL!!! Again, Thanks again for helping this “well seasoned woman” out!!!
I thought that I was the only one that talked to their hair "It's not your turn...not your turn" lol! I am going to try this routine. Thanks for sharing.
I love this blow dryer! I’ve had mine almost a year and it works so well when my hair damp! I don’t get heat damage from it because I don’t use it too often. But can we talk about how gorgeous your hair is?!😍😍🙌🏾 you’re hair goals for sure!
Currently about 3/4 of the way through the video and, if this doesn't already exist, require a video of your blow drying routine (and entire wash day) in real time because I think this is so satisfying to watch and inspires me to take much better care of my hair, I always have the desire but for some reason, your videos in particular intensify that desire. I'm absolutely not joking at all when I say all the things I've said. I need this blow dryer ASAP!! I used to have one when I lived with my parents but didn't realize the blessing I had until I didn't have it anymore and saw this video haha. Definitely purchasing and giving myself a beautiful blowout for Christmas! The hair envy is STRONG while watching this and makes me really eager to do a braid or twist out on vErY well stretched hair.
One of my friends recommended this blow dryer to me over 3 years ago now. I only blow dry/straighten once a year, and have never experienced any heat damage or breaking on my hair. My brush has received more use on my 2 daughters' hair. First of all, your tips were on point. I noticed immediately that the dryer does better on damp hair, so I wash and condition one, then wash and condition the other, and while the 2nd is at the bowl, the 1st one is under the hooded dryer and while the 1st is being blow dried, the 2nd is under the hooded dryer. I spray the heat protection on prior to the hooded dryer on low... and spray a little more during the blow dry. Also starting low then high helps seal in moisture. I normally blow dry to braid, but on special occasions when blow drying to straighten, I have to pick my leave-in carefully because it's the difference in how the humidity will play me out :). Tressemme Hair Spray as the finisher has been the MVP to battle humidity lately. It's time for me to replace my dryer because the bristles are all over the place, so store carefully and wait to store until the brush is completely cooled off (learn from my mistakes). But ultimately a great purchase and willing to repurchase.
I saw this dryer online yesterday and rushed to buy it today, in Nigeria. I can't wait to use it on my 5 year old daughter's hair. She has 4c type hair. so thick and full. Thanks for the tips. I will adhere to them.
I love this blow drying brush! I have been using it since March and I haven't had any setbacks. You just have to use heat protectant as you do with any heat process, keep your hair moisturized as any normal curly should, and be careful when using it. Like all tools, improper use can lead to damage. And congrats you are seconds away from a million!!!
Omg Whit, I remember watching your videos like 7 yrs ago when you probably had less than 50,000 subs and your hair was ear length. Now you’re only 8,000 away from 1 million and your hair is more beautiful and healthier than ever! Congrats sis, you are MAJOR GOALS and that’s definitely an understatement! ❤️
Aaron Bynum I want this to cut my drying time down and comb out my tangles. My hair tangles up really bad and doesn’t work when I use a regular blowdryer. This is exactly what I’m looking for and when I straighten it it won’t be hard to get straight
I haven't seen you in a minute how are you doing. I have been natural for two or three years now. I am very proud of what I am doing with my natural hair 🎉❤
I been using it for about 6 months, every 2 weeks and i havent experience any heat damage. I use argen oil and curls blueberry bliss oil as a heat protection and it does my hair wonders
The variation in hair across people is just wild. Like, her very small amount of leave-in per section would be more than enough for all my baby-fine hair. And as everyone else has mentioned, the fullness of her ends is incredible.
pinkpoet1412 Haha! I feel you girl! So far so good with this guy! I'm just REALLLY careful not to use it TOO often and I also ALWAYS make sure my hair is nice and detangle so there's no breakage!! So far, no issues!! 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️😆😘
That brush dryer was the beginning of my hair breakage, failed heat training, and start of my new texturized journey. Be careful with it if you have fine thin hair- use the low heat setting and use maybe once a month
omg this is a goddess right here 😩 I’ve been watching her since she was making deep conditioners with mayo and eggs in the bathroom with the yellow tint. Such a inspiration

Right! Lol...I was thinking the same.
Hahha I thought the same too!
Love it, love it! Been using for about 6 mo also. No heat damage so far, no extra breakage from it, when I go curly, they still pop.
Use it about the same as you 3 weeks off and on. Beautiful as always.
Your ends are on point
This is the best I’ve ever seen anyone do with this on natural hair. Now I want one.
Sometimes i get so discouraged about my hair then i watch your videos and remember to be patient and just worry about the health of my hair 😄!
A+++++++++
For healthy hair over all these years and your techniques and treatments. You look like a superhero! Thank you for all your education😘
Solange is that you? Omg you and your hair are so gorgeous😍😍
Lauriaa 😃😊😊😊 Aww! Thank you!!! 😘🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️
This video was everything and more. I'm amazed at how full your ends are. You look like a goddess!
I remember when I 1st started watching her. So much hair growth! I love it
After you blew out that first section I knew my hair wasn't ready for this conversation 😩
Your hair is so thick and beautiful 👌🏽
I'm getting a lot of great tips today. First the wet brush and now, the dryer brush. Thanks!
Oh my damn! Your hair is sooooo healthy. Look at the ends! Beautiful! 💖
Embodiment of the true indigenous people. Beautiful hair!!
You 👏🏾 better 👏🏾 go 👏🏾 with 👏🏾 that 👏🏾 gorgeous 👏🏾 mane 👏🏾!!!! So gorgeous; thanks for the second 👍🏾 review of that dryer.
i just brought this after a friend recommended it awhile ago and man after seeing this too
im so impressed
cant wait to try this even more now
I thought that I was the only one that talked to their hair "It's not your turn...not your turn" lol! I am going to try this routine. Thanks for sharing.
Emuna Zamani 😂😂😂
I love my Revlon hair dryer. I purchased mine about 8 months ago. It has saved my life. My dry time has been cut in half.
That’s it. I’m order this blow dryer today. Beautiful Whitney❤️❤️👏🏽👏🏽😍😍
THIS VIDEO GAVE ME CHILLS, YOUR HAIR IS INSANELY BEAUTIFUL WOW
Whitney, your crown is GLORIOUS! Smiles!
Whoever dislikes this is jealous of your hair 😍😍😍😍
I'm jealous...but would never dislike, One small section of her hair is my entire head...cut in half. lol!!
@@EarthScholar LOL SAME
Angeline Clenor I sure am

I saw this dryer online yesterday and rushed to buy it today, in Nigeria. I can't wait to use it on my 5 year old daughter's hair. She has 4c type hair. so thick and full. Thanks for the tips. I will adhere to them.
THANK YOU for this video and the “how to trim your own hair video!!! you’re the best 🤗🤗 Everything worked perfectly for me!
After reading all the positive comments I can’t wait to get my hands on this brush! Can’t believe it worked so well!!!
This was the kinda review/tutorial I've been waiting for before buying one!!! Thank You 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
I wish I had this much energy before eating breakfast 😊... your hair is beautiful😊
All I see is the perfect base for a fluffy braidout to create natural beachwaves
Aaron Bynum I want this to cut my drying time down and comb out my tangles. My hair tangles up really bad and doesn’t work when I use a regular blowdryer. This is exactly what I’m looking for and when I straighten it it won’t be hard to get straight
People say hair is not everything it's just hair but look at ur hairrr it's beautiful it's everything 😍
Woo hoo! Thank you Naptural85! Love your hair tutorials! Much love to you and your beautiful family!
XO!! Thank you so much jlee4Lifestyles !! I hope you're having a great weekend! 😘❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for showing us the potential of Black hair. I'm in awe.
Great follow up video. I’m going to incorporate the aloe vera step into my routine. Your hair is glorious. 🙌🏾
I always love your sincerity & simplicity. Thank you
The variation in hair across people is just wild. Like, her very small amount of leave-in per section would be more than enough for all my baby-fine hair. And as everyone else has mentioned, the fullness of her ends is incredible.
OMG Thank you so much. I had this blowdryer for like a year and used it once. I wanted to straighten my hair and well this will save my life today!!!!
Sorry to lazy to do this, but you look great.
Kelly Boyce 😆😆😆 Thanks Kelly!! 😘❤️❤️❤️
I want to try that revair hair dryer for lazy people like me! But it’s so expensive
You’re overall hair looks gorgeous but i’m obsessed with your ends!!! They look sssoooooo Beautiful and healthy
Yay! I've been looking for a new blow dryer to use but I'm soooo scared of damage.
pinkpoet1412 Haha! I feel you girl! So far so good with this guy! I'm just REALLLY careful not to use it TOO often and I also ALWAYS make sure my hair is nice and detangle so there's no breakage!! So far, no issues!! 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️😆😘
pinkpoet1412 Same here, however, I want to clip my ends so I need to blow dry. I guess every 3 to four months isn’t too bad. 🙏🏾
D S don’t worry I used this blower dryer and it is wonderful and no heat damage
Use heat protecting spray.
Get it! It's amazing!
I love this Revlon brush! It was a gift and it’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s works wonderfully on the younger clients
That brush dryer was the beginning of my hair breakage, failed heat training, and start of my new texturized journey. Be careful with it if you have fine thin hair- use the low heat setting and use maybe once a month
Did you use leave in conditioner and a heat protector???
@@newnana9070 back then I used Cantù leave in conditioner. But not much of it when I blow dried. I used Proclaim heat protectant I think
I love that you've been letting your personality show more lately
Your hair is lovely!
Your hair gives me life. So long and healthy
Girl if you don't get you a glass spray bottle from Amazon! I love mine and you can easily sanitize it without damaging the bottle.
I loove this tool. I have very coarse hair and this tool helps me cut down my styling time on wash days.
Wow, Your hair looks so healthy!! You’re almost at a million subbies Yayyyy🙌🏽🙌🏽
omg this is a goddess right here 😩 I’ve been watching her since she was making deep conditioners with mayo and eggs in the bathroom with the yellow tint. Such a inspiration
