I feel bad for Jim, I know a lot of hardcore fans think of him as a bit rigid and not interested in evolving, but here I get the impression he never really "got" the album and probably found that difficult, and I bet he saw the writing on the wall
It was Jim's idea to audition Mike to replace Chuck, and Mike ended up treating Jim like crap. I feel bad for him too. (Then again, I'm sure Jim wasn't always the easiest to get along with).
