First he needs to understand that we are not in an advanced economy, fiat is failing because of our stone age financial mindset. Well I mean it's obvious why he says that. Bitcoin was intended as a currency. It hasn't become a currency, and now Saylor is saying exactly what you just said, which begs the question, what are you buying when you buy bitcoin? You can buy a piece of Saylor's narrative or whatever. But you're not buying ownership of a company that is providing some kind of value in the real world, right? The only thing you're actually buying is a cryptographic token that is assured to belong to a pool that will cap out at a certain size. As long as hard forks are possible in bitcoin it will have an achilles heel. Bitcoin's run will last until the hard fork possibility is understood by some critical mass. Maybe that's really the thing the administration needs to do, put all miners under regulation to ensure no hard fork is legal.

The blockchain technology (lightning network) provides the rails that ticks off the portability box. I have the same question to FED: "other then printing more dollars what can you do with it?" They are mad because they wouldn't be able to print more btc like they do with the dollar. They would actually have to do the job and manage the 21 million BTC reserve.

Would you "buy anything" with the Mona Lisa if you held it? Of course not. If you bought something like a piece of fine art, it would almost certainly be as a "speculation." Many people do appreciate art, but it's also a way to store wealth, as it's almost certainly going up in value. That's why very wealthy people hold high-dollar, hard assets - they need liquidity, they borrow against real estate, a collectible car, a piece of multi-million-dollar art, whatever. They can use some of the value of the asset, while still owning the asset. It's somewhat like a hooker who can sell _it,_ and still have it......sell it, and still have it......sell it........
Bitcoin being protection against debasement is enough of a use case for anyone who doesn't want their savings to slowly evaporate. Even if it does nothing else at scale (which eventually will on other layers), it's ability to hedge against money printing is still a better use case than fiat any day.
It’s a massive solar flare we need to worry about taking down the grid. Governments need to ensure back up systems and we all need to do our work to put us on a higher timeline such as meditate and remain heart centred.

They are mad because they wouldn't be able to print more btc like they do with the dollar. They would actually have to do the job and manage the 21 million BTC reserve.

Would you "buy anything" with the Mona Lisa if you held it? Of course not. If you bought something like a piece of fine art, it would almost certainly be as a "speculation." Many people do appreciate art, but it's also a way to store wealth, as it's almost certainly going up in value. That's why very wealthy people hold high-dollar, hard assets - they need liquidity, they borrow against real estate, a collectible car, a piece of multi-million-dollar art, whatever. They can use some of the value of the asset, while still owning the asset. It's somewhat like a hooker who can sell _it,_ and still have it......sell it, and still have it......sell it........
Bitcoin being protection against debasement is enough of a use case for anyone who doesn't want their savings to slowly evaporate. Even if it does nothing else at scale (which eventually will on other layers), it's ability to hedge against money printing is still a better use case than fiat any day.
But, Bitcoin is incredibly inefficient use of energy, whilst paper is cheap?
It’s a massive solar flare we need to worry about taking down the grid. Governments need to ensure back up systems and we all need to do our work to put us on a higher timeline such as meditate and remain heart centred.

I wish I could have retired in my 50's. I'm 65 now, I started investing late . After some research, I found a strategy that helped. I'm pleased to say I'm retiring with at least $2 million.

I noticed that when results remain consistent, it indicates something more than just luck. research was the challenge until It led to Julie Ann Lerch, a fund manager. her strategy made sense, it contributed to growing 950k into this and counting
