Class story, Facebook seems to have shut him down but no matter how deep you bury it the truth always finds it’s way back to the light.
My sister in law lived in Westmorland street and was a social worker and my brother worked with people with mental health issues and troubled kids. They called daily to report it and went to every community meeting and were constantly told by the police that it was just racism. Yet the police came out right away when my sister called and described two teenagers injecting in her close that happened to be white. The police ever turned up for the Roma kids that were being taken away into black Jeep’s every night and being dropped back the next day. Never at school. It was clear these children were being sex trafficked and my sister in law went to everyone she could think of and she was never listened to. The police and politicians KNEW! Years of them reporting it so the paper trail and car descriptions and number plates were all told to the police! I’m glad there’s now momentum but this was back in around 2008 so it’s been going on for a very long time.

The fact that this goes on in Nicola Sturgeon's voting area just demonstrates that she's more concerned with securing votes than the children in her district.
The leadership who covers, protects, ignores this monstrous issue, are usually involved in it, connected to it some way, or the gangs are their suppliers too.

I always struggle with these types of podcasts I was completely oblivious as to what was going on being fortunate to have been brought up up in a fairly decent area and a tiny bit of me wishes I had never found out, it’s so difficult to understand how anyone can harm children like this but I have to be realistic and accept that we live in such a fucked up world built on lies and manipulation. I can’t ever go back to that world where I thought this kind of stuff was a rare one off and I really take my hat off to these guys who put themselves out there to prevent it, the more information that is out there regarding this topic has to put pressure on these people who have hidden away in the shadows behind their high profile jobs, well done for putting it out there James as there is so many in society just like myself a few years ago who have no idea of the extent that this goes.
This is why the people in power try so hard to keep it hush hush. It's too much of a problem that goes on in these certain areas that if they keep the information in those communities alone then it doesn't become a nationwide issue.
We always attempt to down play these issues because we're maybe not as bad as other parts of the world but this happening to just one bairn is too much!

This podcast has had me captured from start to finish. In my opinion anyone who knows something like this is going on, any crime against our children, or special needs, and dont use there voices to let the world know are complicit in the crime. Use spray cans if you cant get so eone to listen, write the names and crimes on the walls. Social media will hopefully help fight these crimes. Alex, focus, accept help from people who want to help, take expenses and give the money to a homeless kid who is starving. Find peace.

i used to stay on Dixon ave in Govanhill about 15 years ago, it was ok but i have been back there several times over the years and the place has went so downhill and it does have a bad vibe just walking there

Same all over the UK, just the news doesn’t cover it. I think when people open their eyes and start being receptive to the truth, they will be shocked at how close these things are to them, all over the place. I spent my time growing up between London and the North East of England and can name 7 or 8 places off the top of my head with exactly the same issues as in Govanhill.

Why does it take a civilian with no official authority to expose this sort of goings on , where are the police , health workers and social workers .?Top respect to this top man for alerting the authorities to the plight of these poor unfortunate children . Its just a shame the authorities don't carry out their job with the same vehemence as this man .
