In this video I make a panel clamping station. This station can glue up 6 panels at one time. Steeped metal bit set--------goo.gl/PWvE2C HDPE plastic amzn.to/2GUQYhw
Dude this is the best DIY clamp system I have seen other than maybe Izzy Swan's wooden versions. I can't even believe that you got any thumbs down on this video. I am going to sub to your channel bro. Watching this from Afghanistan at KAF by the way. Great job.
Before you weld the nuts in place, put the threaded rod in the nut with some oil on it, you will find that it helps to protect the thread and has the added benefit of helping to rust proof (blueing) the nut and a portion of the thread as the oil is burned into the metal. hope this helps, from australia, btw well done looks great!
Thank you for serving. Are you still active? I like the way you did 400 minus 32 equals 368 so fast. I would enjoy being your helper. Good luck growing your business. Mike
Hello, once you have the clamping device built, how many days did the 390 cutting boards take to get finnished since lumber? Did you work alone during the whole process or with assistant?
Audio was bit sketchy? Not always sure what was being said. Few if any clear, definitive final images to understand all the lead up steps. Video is too long for the content. Might be a good idea? Might need some work? but the overall production quality was a bit low to tell? Wish i could have heard what he was saying?- full volume- speech still slurred and unclear. Might have been better with a tighter script??
Good job, I would have liked to see you actually clamping something

Thanks for the tip I will have to try that. I am upgrading to the ACME threads right now! so I can try it on them.
What was the total cost in material to make it?
It cost 240 with the threaded rod. The ACME rod upgrade cost another 200. And it is worth every penny when I have a 400 cutting board order!

Josh. Loving the build. The music seriously kills the video since I can hear you, but barely.
My works too. Used Avasva handbooks and build it with no problems.
Soldier! That is awesome!
Thanks, man! The only problem is I always come up with improvements after I am done!
That’s typical. I’m the same way. What would you do differently
Crocs in the shop?
You’re crazy dude! :)
Lol, they are so comfortable!
Great vid... any plans for this?
No I haven't been able to yet. If I do make plans I have found a number of things I would do different.
What plastic did you use to cover the steel?
Its a hdpe plastic. I just bought it off of amazon.

I have gotten my process down to the point where I can do 500 boards every 2 weeks. i think it takes me about 65 man hours total.
@@jirkholz1 Where are you selling your cutting boards. Thats a ton of cutting boards.
Good video on the clamps, unfortunately the music is so loud I cannot hear what you are saying.
