    It is absolutely ridiculous that he is being prosecuted for this! He was the real victim here. The dead guy stalker/home invader is a victim of his own outrageous criminal actions and he alone is responsible for the entire situation. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts should be ashamed and embarrassed for putting the real victim through this bullshit.

    So a cop can shoot 100 times if his life is threatened. But a private citizen has to think twice before he takes a second shot to save his own life. This case should never have been brought to trial. I hope he is found not guilty. MA needs to calm down with these cases. No one knows how they will react when their home is broken into and they are attacked by a jealous mad man.

      There was once a "suspicious" car parked outside in the alley way where our garages are in the neighborhood. You know everyone's vehicle that lives on your block. It was 12 at night and I was smoking a cigarret. It was a few days before christmas so people's trees are harboring gifts. I just didn't like this car being parked on the opposite of my fence with the occupants trying to be quiet. I go back inside to call the non-emergency number to ask them to send a patrol out and grab my pistol. I went outside to give a description of the vehicle and when one of the dudes got out of the car I racked the pistol slide back and they got back in and sped off. Turns out the car and occupants matched the description of wanted suspects for burglarizing homes. You just never know whats going to happen

I don’t think he should be charged at all, but I find it odd that he specified multiple times in his initial interrogation that he did not fire another shot after walking away, walking outside etc… that it was the one altercation and he “might have shot him once or twice” but that he did not shoot after the initial encounter. Why lie!!?? Unless like you said, he truly second guessed that second shot after the 8 mins… but then why not shoot the second shot sooner? We will never know but it’s interesting to consider. Doesnt the Proscuter understand trauma. WE DONT HAVE TO TELL THE POLICE EVERYTHING, SIR.

  • @kc-wk1kz
    @kc-wk1kz 3 дні тому +13

    He was severely traumatized. People don't just ''snap out of it'' right after attacked so viciously when woken up by a violent relentless attacker and being repeatedly told they're going to be killed while they're being violently attacked. I don't believe for one second that he had any ill-intent whatsoever for any of what happened. imo he was still just doing the best he could under the circumstances. He said the violent intruder started to get up from stomach position, this seems very possible. idk why he didn't discuss the second shot right away when asked, there are a lot of possible reasons; being severely traumatized is one. It had to be terrible to have had to shoot at all. The whole thing so awful. I hope the decision is not guilty. Goodness he went to bed thinking he'd wake up to another normal day. But suddenly while sleeping, no.

    • @robinsnest7627
      @robinsnest7627 2 дні тому

      I agree with you. He was traumatized by a sudden woken, brutal attack and then a to shoot someone. What gets me is the second shot 8 minutes later. The defendant visits his girlfriend to make sure she’s alright, gets dressed, takes photos, goes outside again where the 911 dispatcher asks for an update of the intruder. The defendant goes inside reluctantly and feels threatened and shoots him again. This is we’re I disagree with everyone else. And I see why the prosecutor is trying this case. If he’s found not guilty by the jury, that’s their call. If not,?

    • @kc-wk1kz
      @kc-wk1kz 2 дні тому

      He said that the intruder moved when he was walking towards him while still in the dining room when he was ordered by the sp to go back in there to check on the very person that violently attacked him and repeatedly told him he was going to kill him, and who had refused to leave when Brian told him to leave and who kept beating and pursuing Brian no matter how Brian fought back. The violent intruder moved again when Brian walked back in per the sp order; although he had just told them he didn't want to go back in there. It wasn't a ''feeling'', it was the intruders movements. The defendant didn't ''visit'' his girlfriend, notice the state of terror and shock he was still in to go out there before getting dressed to check on her. Imagine the terror and trauma he was in; this doesn't just go away in a matter of minutes. He was told to take photos for evidence. So many things going through his head at that time we can't even imagine; it's good that the person gave him that advice or he likely wouldn't have thought of that. The photos show the intruder lying one way, and then later lying another way; corroborating that Brian said that he was moving. But i would have believed Brian anyway. I don't think for one second that he acted in malice at all at any point whatsoever. At first i questioned the eight minute gap. But once i learned all of the facts, it's clear to me that he's not guilty. He's not a professionally trained law enforcement employee. He had no back up. He was suddenly attacked violently from a sound sleep, for a prolonged time and was repeatedly told he was going to be killed. He saw the intruder move again. He was no doubt in shock, confusion, and terror even still long after that day had ended. And no doubt still feels the effects from this trauma. (i have no affiliation with anyone regarding this case and i live nowhere near there. i just learned the facts and it's clear to me that he's not guilty.) *Most importantly, we all need to turn to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins and the salvation of our soul.

    Great choice by the defense not to ask any more questions....there was nothing that needed fixed or readdressed based on the prosecutor's weak cross.

You would think they have more worthwhile cases to pursue. The voters really need to be paying attention to this malicious prosecution.

    Prosecutor you are a joke! Next time your wife and children are at home sleeping and an unknown stranger comes in your home and starts bashing your head against the wall while threatening to kill you and gouging your eyes out, then YOU explain by second every action you would take to defend yourself and please quote the laws that support every one of your actions. Oh, and you are 24 years old at the time, nude, awoken from sleep, now be sure to account for every action and wait 20 minutes foe the police to show up to save your behind. Prosecutor you are so arrogant to litigate a young man for killing a perpetrator that breaches his house in the middle of the night while armed with a knife and handcuffs. Really go and think about your little life as you try to ruin Camp’s. You did not have to take this case but you chose to so you are a part of the countries problem.
