Quick question. You mentioned that the drum switch is left right and up down. I'm not familiar with this type of drum switch. Do you mean that the polarity can be reversed either left right or up down? Or do you mean that there are four separate potential switch positions? Does the user pick left right versus up down?
I was just referring to the internal contacts of the switch, the top four terminals are either up and down in one position and left to right in the other
Seems to run smooth and quiet. Thats encouraging when refurbishing old machines.
Yes it’s very encouraging
I wish I had your energy. You stay busy.
Yes I do stay busy, with the two jobs I have to
Good work my friend. I love old machinery that works.
Yes, it’s nice not having to mess with it forever
Adam I see the Comet becoming your most used machine tool.Al B.
It will get used for sure
Good job! It started working, I am just installing the DRO for my lathe;)
- Cheers ,Paweł.
DRO, now that’s cheating lol. I’m looking at one for my mills but can’t decide on what brand
@@smalltownmachineshop6860 What cheating?
@@paweisyn7446 I just joking say that to people with dro’s because I don’t have any and have to read dials

That thing is quite, going to be a good one I'd say...
Looks like it so far
