The reason is that players have very limited resources and by the end of the party it’s all about some stupid bunch of basic unit rule the game. Everyone tries to save up as many as possible which results in a dumb dance around the damn derrick in the center. One chases, another runs away and vise versa. Somebody would call it chess-like tactics but it’s basically annoying. I can’t recall anybody building even a war lab just because of lack of credits. No spectacular mess up, no strategy by me. I don’t understand why people are keen on this map so much, but it probably could be interesting if parties were much shorter, but players do sneaky campers and won’t hesitate to fuck over each other until there are just a couple of infantry left.
After destroying the missile launchers you should've not used the rocketeers any longer. Selling the rest of your buildings to get more infantry is a smarter strategy, you could've easily outnumbered him instead of waiting for him to make a move.
Every time look at this map, look really poor. here pressure of the Grand Canon will overwhelm with a lot of pressure. Since there is a lot of resources in Korea, these maps are unfamiliar to me.
I use BF before is the best tactic here but also i try to save the oil, usually lose the oil, you can't take it and you can ignore it that is the beautiful of this map.
Why do people say you are good it makes no sense.... you do know that rocketeers can shoot missiles out of the air as well, but you never do that, nor do you build more guardians to help with the anti air, I bet if you had even 1 more guardian or even just 1 rocketeer you would’ve kept the oil refinery for like 5 minutes more, and then you could’ve had like 7-8 rocketeers to dominate the entire game. You may have won but you need to work on your strategies more man.
Or honestly just keep 1 engineer on hand near the oil refinery to instantly repair it Incase they damage it really fast like when you got hit with an air strike then a V3 rocket, it only costs 500$, and having 2 barracks was just a waste of money, it would make sense if you had like 2000$ or more to just make units faster but that extra barracks was just a waste, you could’ve built 1-2 rocketeers or an extra patriot missile instead. I may insult a bit but you just make bad plays way too often for someone that has played this game as much as you have.
I think you never play this map and v3 can take down the rocketeers if this explode near to them, i do many mistakes that is true but this is an old video anyway.
