There should be no question that Girls Generation (SNSD) is an iconic KPOP group. They have a unique style supported by some of the best singers in KPOP and awesome choreography. They are one of the 2nd Gen groups who opened up KPOP to the World.
The hairography in this mv is very strong! Fun fact: Hyoyeon is the original main dancer, before her the position didn't exist. But most importantly, Coach and Mrs. Coach definitely have my vote!
Please react to Into The New World. It's their debut song from 2007, and it's the most iconic debut in K-pop. It's actually used in protests in South Korea and is known as the unofficial anthem of K-pop.
You've seen girl groups from different eras, so you can understand why so many people argue with such trivial things, claiming that certain generations were the best. This one is clear. The second generation was probably the most difficult. It was a time when live performance was forced on all stages and we had crazy levels of schedules. So we sometimes fainted during live performance on stage. The third generation was similar. A representative girl group of that era was this group. In other words, they performed like that and sang live on a microphone with no sound effect. This era was both a romantic era and a murderous, high-intensity labor scene. That's why Koreans call this era, an era of fierce competition. So, combining all generations. There are a lot of people who love Girls' Generation the most. That's why they're called role models for girl groups. Their greatness. Their professionality, their dance, their singing skills, their looks, their bodies... There are no weaknesses anywhere. Girl groups that seem to be the most perfect ideal.
Even, they are really, really, really funny. They are also very good at variety shows. Each of them is full of charms. The entertainment shows they appear on always have the highest ratings, because you'll laugh so much while watching them that you'll shed tears.
One of the top soloist vocalist of south korea is current and is still active is in this group. “Taeyeon” - girls generation leader and main vocalist. At moment majority are in the mid 30s going into their early 40 in few years
Wow! Their choreography really is amazing! It’s no wonder they’re all in such great shape! I read where Rino Nakasone is their choreographer. She has done backup dancing for Brittany Spears, Gwen Stefani, Justin Bieber, and others. Their videographers and sound techs are top-notch as well. What a great team. Very nice! Thank you for reacting to it.
Every girl want to be like them, they set the dream in those little girl to want to become a kpop idol and everybody have like THE queen because she is a Taeyeon ❤
lol what are the odds! I had been going through old reactions for this song for no reason today. And then you released this! Banger of a song. Outfits and choreography are outrageously cool.
@@CoachCastTVfyi Jessica left SNSD in September 2014. This song came out in March 2015, and was officially their first release as an eight-member group. But, later on a nine-member Japanese version MV was leaked. You can search for it on UA-cam.
@@CoachCastTV fyi this was their first release as an eight member group, in March 2015. Jessica left in September 2014. However as others already pointed out, a nine member version MV (a Japanese version iirc) was leaked.
Somehow I had never come across this MV before, I still have some blind spots working backwards before my time in KPop. At least they had professional gloves for working at the quarry, I mean working it at the quarry. The real question is burritos or enchiladas? CoachCastTV for president! “Coach is always right!, How can you go wrong?”
Speaking of Presidency ...Girls'Day "Female President". You might as well eat Mexican on the day you watch that music video just in case. You have a keen eye too. This is the release that saw Jessica leave the group. I've lost my copy but there was actually a music video for this filmed with all 9 girls which someone at SM must have let slip out the back door. This is top 3 SNSD for me along with I Got A Boy and another you will need to eat Mexican before watching called, You Think. Also the girl hitting the big notes that caught your attention is Taeyeon. I know she's already on your list to check out as a soloist but this is a good time to remind you. PS I'd vote for you.
0:35 I agree, but I also think they're loved because of SNSD's personalities that can't be seen in the MV(s). I hope you can check their long guide by ohwoowoo to get a better idea of who Girls' Generation are. ua-cam.com/video/2vmvthBWsaA/v-deo.html Thanks for your reaction and you have my vote 🤣.
You can see SNSD perform a heart transplant in Mr. Mr..... ua-cam.com/video/Z8j_XEn9b_8/v-deo.html However; Taeyeon's Devil's Cry intro to Run Devil Run will always be my favorite ua-cam.com/video/w-WjN77yzvE/v-deo.html
I voted by clicking the Like button. 70 down, eighty million to go. Don't tell anyone I'm British, as you might be disqualified. I really like this one, but I think my favourite of theirs is Genie (though still lots to discover). I recently came across the confusingly named Some & Love (You'll be Mine) by Nature, which feels like a homage to Catch Me If You Can and I Got A Boy, as well as being a banger in its own right.
@@CoachCastTV BTW, there's a performance of "The Boys" that Girls Generation did on David Letterman with Bill Murray and Regis Philbin in attendance that you have to see. Regis' reaction was pure gold.
My favorite SNSD video. Thsi was originally supposed to be an unpromoted Japanese single to thank the 55,000 fans who packed the Tokyo Dome, but it wnded up being so much more. Jessica had just gotten removed from the group, and after throwing her group-mates under the bus, this was rhe video that said "Reports of Girl's Generation's demise have been greatly exaggerated." Absolutely iconic.
You guys are reacting to my least favourite Girls' Generation title songs and I still enjoy so much 😂 Mr. Coach can make anyone laugh- Next you should react to Lion Heart, it's a pretty funny music video!
This is the OT8 (8 members minus Jessica) version of "Catch Me If You Can". An earlier music video for this song which included the former 9th member Jessica Jung was held back from release when Jessica was abruptly and unceremoniously kicked out of Girls' Generation in Sep 2014. I have not seen it but there is a "Catch Me If You Can" music video with all 9 members (OT9) available for viewing somewhere online despite SM Entertainment's best efforts to keep it hidden from the public.
They were my first introduction to K-pop. Jessica was my bias. When they kicked her out, i stopped following them. Jessica and Tiffany were the only Americans in the group. Sunny has duel citizenship she was born in the U.S. then moved to Iraq for her father's work. When the Gulf War began, they moved to Korea. Sunny was the one in the green hair in the second video you guys watched ✌️
Thanks for that info. We don't know the group well yet, but Jessica seemed to be one that would have been in the running for a bias for Coach. Although in this group, it is hard to pick one.

Taeyeon is the oldest and she just turned 35 earlier this month, so they have awhile till 40...
Imo the most fav song is "Gee". That's my early kpop song went international (especially in Thailand), beside "Nobody" from Wonder girls.
Add "No No No" by APink and we have the trilogy of the most iconic 2nd Generation Kpop songs.
