Keep in mind that most of the video is accurate but I want to continue respecting you guys's trust you have for me and update information whenever I mess up. Buccaneer - Still getting lightning form orbs buffed but just not as massive of a buff as shown in the video Dawn Warrior - True sight and it's support is still getting nerfed but, some of their passives are getting buffed, which give them crit dmg, and dmg. Some of their skills got dmg increases as well. Because the ele reduction from true sight is gone, it's still not as good. Evan - Dragon dive dmg increased but sprial of mana damage has been decreased, cooldown removal on spiral of mana is still there. Blaster - crit dmg/boss dmg from mastery decreased, so still overall nerf
Another note for Paladin: Along with Mighty Mjolnir getting buffed in damage, using it with the --ATTACK-- key will now spawn all of your stacks at once. I don't know why they changed it from the down-arrow + Mjolnir, but overall it's still a huge damage increase to our burst to be able to summon all three hammers at once now instead of slowly weaving it between Blasts (if we even remember it exists while bossing). I'm looking forward to this.
Thanks for covering this and breaking down the changes. Just FYI, for BaM, you mentioned the battle mastery 5% increase to FD, however, you skipped over the spell boost changes, which is the biggest increase to FD at 17%, and has an additional 5% damage increase.
Brother duky those are the KMST notes. There are some additional changes for when the patch went live in KMS. Dawn Warrior for example got small buffs to compensate for his nerfed true sight. Also a few number changes here and there
The aran burst with the remaster is a lot simpler now but overall we're a lot weaker (in 6th job specifically, pre 6th job it's actually stronger) due to 3 main things if I had to pick just the big ones: 1. Tempest got a massive nerf since it now has a 0.4(?) second internal CD (unlike now where it has no CD) 2. Adrenalin CD means we can't use Hunter's Prey back to back anymore 3. Maha's Fury is being removed and the boost it provided isn't really being compensated somewhere else.
@@ryanhoang1123 not only that, adrenaline now has a cooldown, so you get to 1000 within a minute or less and spend the rest of the time waiting for adrenaline.
As someone who loves kaiser and used to be a kaiser main, seeing how they decided to rework 2 classes that did not need reworks, but then kaiser who needs a rework BADLY not even getting any buffs in this update. It just sucks, it really sucks...
Thanks for the update, never thought i would play MS again lol but my usual main fps games been boring to me. Its nice to finally come back to MS after a long time and see what kind of OG items i had lol. Didnt know they worth a decent amount on auction house. Almost gave them away if i had them but sold them to shop cuz i thought was useless . Ill probably level up a character or two to 120-200 to continue these link skills or legion buff..etc casually but wont touch anything end game. Not that commited and on a lower pop server Aurora
For phantom - the ied debuff was on penombre, they just moved it to tempest. And the overall fd increase was 3%-5% total, but less in parties with burst.
Death trigger Hi. Kain player. These damage increases are pretty small for our big bursts, but very very nice for our 90sec, which feels very very lackluster nowadays,(anecdotal evidence: I’m pretty sure busters 60 sec is stronger than our 90 sec before these changes)
90s is kind of unstable with 2 keydowns and usually you dont wanna bind for that. High chance the boss is gonna tp away, use an attack you must dodge etc. I would have also liked dragon burst to be condensed into 3 seconds.
sucks about bishop but i kinda vibe with their solo being buffed cuz getting a guaranteed 2 min burst from holy blood is very nice. instead of holding people hostage for drops you can just do the bosses yourself now, when these changes come through i can see myself soloing hard lomien and maybe even ctene
I personally like the party nerf knowing that the class will now be more solo-bossing-guided. I mean, bene still awesome in non party situations and DP still pretty usefull on a burst
As a Shadower main, I approve. Origin is a whole lotta Mc'Suck arse now. Should notice a huge damage increase with all the 6th job stuff as I'm about to be down to shadow assault left to max.

Been waiting for the update to remake my DK, nice to hear it's getting some buffs. Only downside is I won't know how much better it feels. Lol. That Jupiter Thunder buff has me happy as an I/L guy as well as the shorter cooldown on Freezing Breath. 3 minute cooldown really does feel shitty.
Lol nice to see bishops were still OP and needed since the start of GMS. But now i guess thats changing. I rmbr all the good bishops were always geared out and favorited. Never done any crazy bossing in MS back then. only in World of warcraft . Finally been logged on for about 1 week, and hit level 200 on my NL and Hero , 162 NL and 167 hero were my max characters . I still have a hard time playing nightlord cuz so squishy and die easily. Which is prob why i made a hero back then
I'm kinda happy that demon cry got a much lower cooldown. Everyone says tp farming is the best way for DS to train, but it never really clicked with me.
Boss nerfs to compensate for the massive change in the meta seems like the simple short term answer for the moment. But 6th job skills added would be nice for the long term but I'd like them to really spend time in the kitchen on it so some classes don't end up with duds on it.
The best and easiest solution is to just reduce boss hp. like, Extreme Kaling total health is 126 quadrillion. Even if you had 25* everything in regs, the best gear like full set pitched, the best flames, 3 line prime everything even bpots, best scrolls, best fams and etc, you still cant kill extreme kaling. Heck, even if they released all the hexa skills and you have them max as well, you'd at most probably only deal 2/3's of her health. Just reduce hp of bosses for regs and reboot, but more on reboot so its possible to kill them.
I personally hate nerfing shit in pve games so im kinda bitter sweet about bout these balance changes but at least some of the other classes can shine a bit brighter now.
This is such a Iow inteIIigence take, it is baffling to me how this opinion is so common in these sorts of games. Even though it is PvE, it is still a curated experience from the devs, and in order to make the challenges that they are presenting to the player fair, they will need to adjust things as the landscape of the game evolves. Also, if devs were not allowed to nerf things, they would be way too scared to add new things to their game. Being able to tune stuff down allows them to put more fun into the game, straight up. At the end of the day, no nerfs ever equals 1 of 2 things: 1) infinite powercreep, most content in this game is already pretty trivialized (for example the whole midgame bossing experience got basically deleted by 6th job release) but this would cement smoothing out any sort of moderate difficulty this game has, and gut the progression in the long run. 2) even bigger buffs to weaker classes, as well as buffs to the bosses themselves. This is the only way to keep the balance power neutral, and its in reality exactly the same as buffs and nerfs, except this method requires broader strokes (bigger buffs) which have a higher chance of being too much or too little. Say there is one overpowered thing, in this case its burst/fd stacking, particularly with bishops huge role in it. To bring every class up to bishop you would need to 3x almost every support classes supporting capability, as well as give each of the other supports heals, defensive utilities, something crazy game warping like door, and more. Of course then you have to make every boss way harder and healthier to compensate for the crazy damage and party utility they all now bring, AND you have to buff every single dps significantly because if every support was bishop tier strong then every party would be 6 support, AND you now have to buff boss hp again. Or, you could just nerf bishop! Do you honestly believe that while buffing every class in the game to the power level of the strongest class, they wont overshoot a buff or added mechanic? Obviously they will, and now you must rebuff every single class to be up to standard with the new strongest thing. Do you see the issue yet? The bad feelings that you get when your class is nerfed are heavily outweighed by the good feelings everyone else has when they are playing a well balanced game. This of course assumes the balance team is competent, but if the balance team is incompetent, "no nerf ever strategy" is harder to implement well anyways. I feel like the people who have this opinion just want to play a mobile game, where they drop $100 and their months of saved rolls for the new crazy unit and steamroll all content, because in every other instance, nerfs are better. Maple isnt that kind of game anyways. You are locked into your class past a certain amount of playtime, and if you arent playing the class that is currently benefiting the most from the most recent round of huge buffs, you are stuck being bitter and sad, "not having as much fun". Yes, i know, there will still be classes that are best either way, but a balanced approach is the best way to balance these types of games, because it enables a smoother power curve for classes. "Nerfs=always bad" as an opinion just shows me that you dont really understand game design.

Typically the result of this thought process being widely accepted and pushed by the community lowers the quality of the game, so I push back against it, especially when inkwell is responding to the west's criticisms of the game currently and is shaping the game partially based off of that criticism. I don't have anything against you but I would prefer if when someone saw your comment they also saw mine attached and maybe learn that its more nuanced than people might think. just adding new 6th job skills doesnt fix the gap between regular and reboot. They will just launch a new boss based on regular whales and reboot will keep falling behind

I’m an End game nightwalker player and at the stage of little to no return on this game with maximum effort😢 0/6 on eternals ,boomed all pitches, billions on double priming and nothing,etc. I know it’s hard but how you adjust mentally at the stage of the game instead of quitting? Didn’t want to quit cuz the community and I do enjoy some part of the game at the end game.. it would be great if you can give out some advices. Thanks.❤
Nice as a Kanna we got 25sec cd for Spirit Circle that dont even show 60sec cd for Vanquish charm that you need to finish cast to start the 60sec cd 75sec cd for Yuki Musume 120sec cd for blessing and force 180sec+60sec cd for Yaksha the 180sec cd domain definitely help fsfs "Death Trigger" for kanna might be to align all cd

Isn’t there also the issue that Aran can’t actually mini-burst every minute cuz you can’t stack adrenaline fast enough for ur 1m?

Lynn is still a big unknown. Think the only class changes not known yet. But Awaken nerf is almost 100% guarenteed

Yeah, even after all the QoL and skill changes, BW ends up losing around 12ish % FD to party and ~1-2ish % FD for themselves

So bishop is still a support king by default. Nerfs or not... the only thing they nerfed was bene...yea bishop still SS.
They also gave everyone holy fountain.
TLDR: Stick to the original explorer classes. always a safe choice.
