Love your etudes, just discovered today, Christmas 2023! Nice Christmas present to myself!
Cheers for Jack Sutte's highly musical performance!
This is really nicely written! Ever thought of writing for concert band ?
Thanks! Yes, I have. It’s certainly a different beast than writing for a solo instrument, but it is on the agenda.
@@NathanOstMusic i know I’m super late to reply to this but it would be amazing if you wrote for a concert band.
Great!
Show, Show, Show.
Really cool
0:52 how do you make that noise?
Roll your tongue. “Rrrrrrr”
Nathan Ost Music sounds complicated lol
I know it says the tempo is 126, but what tempo were you playing this at?
As the composer of this piece, I imagined it at 126 bpm. The trumpeter performing in this video felt that it sounded better at a slower tempo. Simply a matter of personal taste.
Nathan Ost Thanks for the reply, I was thinking about playing this for my final in school, I really enjoy this piece!
@@avipotato Thank you! Visit nathanost.com to grab the book if you'd like.
Nathan Ost I think I will
Nathan Ost Music I like it’s his taste of tempo though 👍
