- Ripley's Aquarium just turned 3 today and we had a chance to celebrate it's birthday! To make it fun I figure we can also put in some bits about what a reefers may say in a public aquarium -- all in good humor, hope you enjoy the visit as much as we did!
Nice aquarium tour. Things that Reefers say had me busting up. Made my day. Thanks for the video.

Her birthday dinner hahaha she's amazing and so funny ... this was a great video I really enjoyed it .... and there is my dream tank at 14.13 the saltwater Cichlids tank looks fantastic and I love how it looks like they are swimming together but there not .... it's actually made with 3 tanks to give the illusion that there swimming together 🤗🤗 I want a tank like that one day
I totally missed how the column tank was constructed!! Man, that was embarrassing, haha! Let me leave a note in the video, lol! At least now I know those African Cichlids weren't swimming in saltwater...
Hahaha I only know this because I watched a documentary on how it was actually made and it inspired me sooooooooo much this has to be the best tank and idea in the world ever 🤗🤗 perfect video I really enjoyed it 🤗🤗

I am not allowed to go to aquariums with family anymore because I spew out fish facts to much 😅

The tank at 14:10 is just a tall saltwater cylinder tank inside a shorter wider fresh water tank. if you look carefully, you can see that the acrylic of the tall tank goes all the way to the bottom. Also, the saltwater fish are only on the inside cylinder and likewise, no cichlids are swimming up the tall cylinder.
You are right, I should have been more observant... bubble bursted. =/

The round tank at the end looked like it may have been two separate tanks... One freshwater and one salt. Was it?
It's actually one single tank, I think I may have seen it on a TV show? Let me try to look it up...
Inappropriate Reefer Naw man, look carefully, that's two tanks. The saltwater tank is inside the freahwater one. Look carefully.
Inappropriate Reefer Plus look at the substrates, they are different but don't mix at all, they are at different levels. But anyways, it's a really good video, keep it up!!!
