Could you post an update of your latest deck list and side explayning what your siding process is for the different meta rhx mate btw great video do you think they will hit albion sd like branded expulsion ? And if yes is there a backup lock ? 4 examüle the winda wich would be extradeck heavy using up 2 slots more
Yes. Also if they hit albion winda would be our next best bet in terms of a lock gameplay for branded, yes. Also there are barrier statue plays with branded chimera.
Do you consider gimmick to be a must if you want to compete? Personally I prefer Ad Lib and I feel I end on weaker boards when going for the puppet if they manage to interrupt the route/banish puppet
@@MetaGamesGX Ooooh yeah I comprehend, will try my build with Ad Lib then, was curious to know your opinion as someone who unlike me has already competed in local events, thanks!
@@No__Vanity I understand that 👍it’s just that it said you can’t summon cards from the extra deck the turn that you activate it so I just thought that since branded fusion resolved the nadir can’t activate beacause you summoned from the extra this turn.
@@MetaGamesGX The whole point is to activate The lock on the opponent’s standby phase. If they can’t summon it then it’s impossible to pop Ido to begin with. brother i appreciate the responses, your comments tell me you dont have much experience on branded, or at least at a high level. You can literally just pop the ido with any other card effect and just keep playing. That cant happen with puppet once its on the field. Also SP is not the optimal phase for a lock so thats a big tell... High level players will be outing ido all day where the only way to out the puppet is to stop sanctifier. @@biggy4427
What is the reasoning behind using Dark Magician instead of The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion? DM gets you Dragoon's pop + burn effect but Hex-Sealed is a more flexible card in hand. Plus it lets you use Branded Fusion to go into Albion with Albaz + Hex-Sealed, then Albion effect banishing Albaz + Hex-Sealed for Dragoon, so you retain a card in hand since you don't discard like Lubellion, you have an extra body on field with Albion, and as long as you eventually get the Albion in grave you plus off of it. It just seems a more efficient way of getting to Dragoon while also being a better card should you draw it, while Dark Magician's only advantage is 1 non-targeting pop in a meta where that isn't that great. This thought process comes from a Branded Chimera player though so maybe I'm missing something about Branded Despia's nuances.
@@MetaGamesGXyeahhhh that’s why I play it in chimera too Also it being dark allows for you to go into Lubellion instead of Albion which is preferred in this case and under shifter so ye
If you summon jade in the first combo wouldn’t you have to shuffle back Albaz? What could you target with branded in red after?

Hey, im trying to make a version of your deck for masterduel, what would you replace your dragoon with if it was banned?
I think borrelload furious (the fusion) is your best bet.
And what is a good replacement in the tcg?

Not necessary at all to compete. You see other builds do just fine without. I just think it is the best turn 1 branded board against 90% of decks.

Going to be a w
Just a question how did the nadir happen if branded fusion resolved beacause nadir locks you out of extra
If Branded fusion happened BEFORE Nadir, it’s fine. Nadir only locks you out FOR THE REST of the turn, after it’s activated
if you think about order of operations instead of just activating cards randomly your win% will increase by a huge margin

@@liam7liam7you do it on your opponents turn
Ido The supreme magical force is better. It says the can’t summon at all rather than one turn.
Not at all better than puppet
@@MetaGamesGX well, better lock. HORRIBLE CARD as far as having to get around.
Puppet being lingering is a way harder lock to get around. Your opponent can pop ido with kirin lol

Hex doesn't work under shifter

Dragoon pop effect is still good today the problem is the discard for lubellion hence why hex is played over dark magician
Bro u just answered ur own question by asking lmao
Doesnt work all the time
Nothing does
