The third year in a row that I've been to watch this madness!
#CheeseRolling #CoopersHill #Gloucestershire #UK - Спорт
This is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. It's glorious, it's spectacular, and I love it. Long may it reign.
U sounds like Simon in BGT
you have to have fun
true
The Jackass crew should have done it 10-15 years ago.

4:19 redhead girl: GTA IV Physics mode: on
lmao😂😂
A true Hardcore Max Level Lady. Absolute Beast😂
I literally cried laughing 😂😂😂😂
hahahahaha
xdd
Without health and safety regulations things are 10x more fun
What if some get seriously injured and wanna take em to court
@@TheIcpfan23 I think they might have to sign a waiver before hand saying that they can’t sue them if they get injured
@@Whikkzz i geuss your right
@@TheIcpfan23 why are people like you sue happy
@@TheIcpfan23 That isn't typically a British thing to do, more American. Not saying it doesn't happen.
"Whos laughing now? Got my roll of cheese."
7:28 the dude in front with the white tshirt and sweatpants gets a perfect 10 on the form of his flip right at the beginning
To all the soccer players out there this is how you flop
after done flip he was like-I believe i can fly😂😂😂
I really wanted him to win 🤣
This. Is. Awesome.
From across the pond, I hope you guys never stop the traditions!
4:19 The redhead : well i guess a good cheese worth dying for
She's actually won it 4 times haha, there's a documentary on Netflix about her
@@morgb27 why is that so funny to me
@@morgb27what’s the doc called? 😂
@englanda1 'we are the champions' it's the first episode
that happens when u live on an Island and have nothing to do :D
100% Britain
Doesn't feel like we are on a island and there's plenty to do they're just a bit mental in Gloucestershire due to the genetics they just love throwing themselves down hills for fun
Buddy this is just entertainmnt n for happiness...u make your lives so busy thats why u die young with old looking faces
@@AhmedHassan-mh3sf not many people stay busy. You die young no matter how young you are
How does living on an island mean you have nothing to do?
Fantastic video! Thank you for filming it. My family loves to sit down and watch the cheese rolling event every year!
Thanks for commenting. It's a crazy event. I've come all the way from Wales to see it for the last three years. I must be as mad as they are!
I would like to be there, ask for me and im glad to fly ov there

Unoriginal
you mean roll by roll tutorial?
2:20 that one kid who stopped and cried lol damn and that was nice of that guy in yellow (who honestly seems to be in this every year) talking to him ahah
The guy in yellow is Chris Anderson, who wins at least one race almost every year!
3:25 - you know she’s been training for this moment 😂😂😂
😂 Obviously
God : Builds a hill

06:07 guy in orange shirt (and many others): I'm so smart I'm going full speed all the way eventhough I haven't been training for 20 years.

I had so many questions but this answers them all.
Pertiition to add this to the Olympics...
I’ll sign it

This event is one of the many reasons i love about the UK.
May God bless you for your kind comment, God.
Thank you God. Jesus also loves cheese.
i've always loved seeing people failing, it's not that I like to see people hurt, it's just that I enjoy to see people doing things like this knowing they may get hurt and they don't care
I imagine that running uphill is like running in a nightmare.
Was thinking the same 😂😂😂😂
Honestly harder than going down
😂😂😂 That's another reason why I Love this country. Good bless you all!
imagine.. people 100 years ago thinking…”in 2016 people will make flying cars” and then people make a game where people run down a hill risking their whole life just to get a cheese.. i love this
I wanna see 30 obese people chase the cheese down
why only 30?
theyd flatten the hill into a meadow
Make it 50
maybe your mother is there
nah... too quick... i wanna see 30 obese people climb up the hill for that cheese.
First of all what beautiful climate, all around Super Green at Coop9er's Hill, Natural Fresh air, Beautiful People, Absolutely Fantastic Game.. OMG England is Beautiful Country ever seen in this planet very much love to live in this such climate with beautiful wife....
Yuuh great I feel like Harry Potter and the others are going to swoosh in any moment with their broomstick en have an ol time brawl...... With their own magical cheese block
Thank you recommended for reminding me of these golden videos that will forever hold a top spot in my heart😂
I have a heart murmur. I'm out of breath and dying just looking at this.
We NEED sports like this in the states
It is yours my friend..... We are all the same people, dont forget it. Find yourself a hill, check for rocks and stingers and get rolling! 🇺🇸🇬🇧
In my younger years went down a hill in a tractor tyre, a barrel and a laundry basket, bloody intense and crazy.
One more sport I’d love to have in America, but we have lawyers😐
I am watching from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 and I just Loved it, The best part of all Sports, 👍👍 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a wonderful spectacle, just made for video cameras. I'm amazed there were no serious injuries. Looked like a lot of fun. Boys will be boys and sometimes even girls will be boys!! Brilliantly captured and held my attention for the full 14 minutes.
Thanks, Steve. Definitely worth a visit (to watch or participate!) if you're in the area!
I@@BadgerBotherer1 I would love to go and watch it, at the risk of sounding a bit lame, I'm not too sure if I could cope with it at my time of life!! Perhaps you could take part and I could video you rolling down the hill - what do you say?!!
I say, "No!". I've just turned 50, and I've got arthritis in my knees and hips, so I think I'll give rolling down that hill a miss! It was quite painful even standing on that steep hill watching for a couple of hours!
@@BadgerBotherer1 That's most disappointing J. I was rather looking forward to it. Just turned 50, you're a mere whipper snapper, wait till you get to my age of 68!! It's funny but I have never suffered with my knees, the rest of me is falling apart though, dodgy feet, dodgy teeth, a touch of meniere's (look it up) and an iffy back!! Apart from all of that I feel fine...
Well, I suppose I could slide down very gingerly on my bottom, finishing about half-an-hour after everyone else, but you would have to pay me! Funnily enough, I've been getting hearing loss and some ringing in one ear recently - I might suggest Menierie's to my doctor. Thanks for mentioning that!
Dude that was crushing it in the motocross jersey went up to give that kid some support, absolute class. Got all the respect in the world for him
That's Chris Anderson, 23-time cheese winner - the all-time greatest!
i absolutely love that this sort of thing is still allowed
This looks ridiculous and insane...I love it! 🤣🤘🧀
Es hermoso ver las diferentes actividades que se realizan en otros países
.. DIOS LOS BENDIGAAAAAAA
cross country coach: today we're doing easy hill repeats and todays hill is quiet flat
The hill:
This is one of many things that makes Britain Great!
I've seen pics of the hill from the top and it looks absolutely terrifying, its a damn near cliff. Yes, its stupid (and brutal), but you would have to have massive balls to do this and be an absolute nutter...I love it! These people know how to enjoy life.
Xddd nice enjoying of life in future a lot of problems wanna know how you will be enjoying life on a wheelchair
I was looking for the Cheese Roll snack and this came up! I am not disappointed in the slightest!
Complete lunacy absolutely brilliant love it love you crazy people 😀😀😀
Who would downvote this you misery guts? Haven't laughed so much in ages, make it an Olympic sport I say. The kinda thing that make our country great.

This has been on my bucket list for a while now. Not visited Cooper's Hill yet. Have visited the bog snorkelling at Llanwrtyd Wells. Awesome.
I've followed this too since the local council tried to muscle in on it with threats and the Police terrorised the old lady from the firm that supplied the cheese.
Great clip :)
I'd like to see the bog-snorkelling. Any idea when it's on this year?
It is always on August Bank Holiday Monday if I recall correctly. I have a video of it among my uploads :)
***** Thanks. Will check out your video.
Mad respect for dude tryin to comfort that kid 2:22
didn't that guy win like 2 races himself?
@@JazzRadioFfm I'm pretty sure he's the record holder since the whole competition began 👍.
I do not know what would become of the world if the Brits didn`t have a cheese chasing competition
2:17 PLOT TWIST - He's telling the kid that he is a disaster and never be as good as him ;F
The cheese was a paid actor.
And these idiots are the stunt double lol
Humans and gravity=God laughing
Running up that hill would make leg day at the gym feel like a stroll in the park
I'm caught somewhere between "This is oddly fascinating" and "What the hell did I just watch?" XD
and they say Britons are restrained , reserved and self-controlled ...Rule Britannia ! (I'm not the Brit but love this country)
Nobody's gonna talk about that Panda that traveled several thousand miles to participate in this?
10:39 Gordon Ramsay's having a go lol
😂😂😂
XDDDDD OMG
he needs that cheese for his food
it’s locally sourced cheese 😂
That's gonna hurt in the morning!! 😂😂
an absolutely wonderful event
Thanks! Wonderful but crazy!
The red head at 4:18 takes the cheese. I almost died laughing 😆
i so miss Gloucestershire, i had to move much higher north to the west Midlands and i can't get to cooper's hill so easily now. i could beat all these lot now as i think i was born without fear growing up in Gloucestershire. i grew up in a town called Stonehouse. I'm so homesick lol but the trick to this is just run 🏃♂️
where are the statistics on how many people have broken their necks?
Wish I could participate in one of this legendary game
I'm glad this was in my recommandations.
Como hago para participar y que se gana?
Lo que necesita el mundo...volver a la escencia y muchas risas!!!!
4:09 didn't know carol participate on this cheese rolling event
That looked like a lot of fun.
I don't know why this makes me emotional.
When is the wheelchair competition?
Running uphill looks more scary than rolling down.
9:28 how does someone decide to participate with Pikachu? LOL
Jajjajajajajajajajjajaja😂
F por el pobre pikachu XD
... LOL
Bro these ragdoll physics are getting too realistic.
As a yank that has no idea what this is all about, 1) how did this tradition start 2) what's with the rugby players tackling people at the bottom?
I absolutely love this! I'm adding it to my bucket list of things I want to see in person. Looks like a TON of fun!
1) Not sure, but I think it goes back hundreds of years. It could be something to do with local lads demonstrating their toughness to young maidens by showing they could throw themselves down the steepest hill in the area, and live to tell the tale. 2) The rugby players are there to stop fast-moving humans ploughing through the hedge and fence and into the garden of the property that is at the bottom of the course, but sometimes they get carried away and seem to jump on top of anyone just for the hell of it!
The rugby players fulfil two roles at the cheese rolling they catch the people who are out of control as they descend the hill and they are also stretcher bearers for the first aid/medical team who would otherwise have to ascend and descend on ropes, but by doing it this way a couple of medics can be half way up on ropes for triage and patient packaging and the rest of the first aiders/medics stay at the bottom to receive any casualties, I should know as I have been a medic at the cheese rolling a few times it is one of the most demanding tasks that I have ever been involved with!!!!
@@jakedovey7488 Is the event on this year, do you know? I might come back (from Wales) to watch and film again!
Nobody really knows what the situation is yet, the hill is now owned by the wildlife trust rather than the council meaning that they have to give permission for the event, but to be honest the police and council want to ban it completely and if the event is not granted permission it will be against the law to conduct the event meaning there would be no medical cover and arrests could be made because of the bylaws for coopers hill, I suggest checking the official website if it is still active!
@@jakedovey7488 Cheers. Can't see any sign of an official website any more. There is no way we can allow officialdom to ban an event that has been going on for hundreds of years. Roll that cheese!
Reminds me of football practice we're you had to run up the hill and back down and I'm not talking about soccer
😂
this is really fun here in Brazil it doesn't have that I would love to participate in a competition like this
I just found this sport and I am addicted. We Americans have a similar one where they race power wheels and barbie cars down hills.
I think I have seen your sport. Craziness on both sides of the Atlantic!
@@BadgerBotherer1 right, it's the type of crazy nobody can hate. I think it's awesome after 6 years, millions of views and thousands of comments you still interact with your audience. And I'm curious have you ever participated in the cheese rolling? It seems like quite the experience
@@thepantyraid Hi, and thanks. No, I haven't ever participated. I'm 54, and I don't see many of that age going down! I'd just seen some clips on TV and UA-cam, so, on one Monday when I was free back in 2014, I travelled the 50 or 60 miles from where I live to watch it. It was so silly, that I went back to watch it the following two years as well! It's been cancelled for the last three years due to Covid, but hopefully the event will be back next year. You going to have a go?!
@@BadgerBotherer1 understandable, it's still a good laugh and something to look forward to even if you don't partake. If the opportunity arose and the company was right I would probably join in, definitely wouldn't press my luck to far though. I'd love to see a go pro footage of someone who's running after the cheese, it would be crazy to see it from their perspective.
@@thepantyraid There are probably better ones, but here's someone's GoPro footage: ua-cam.com/video/ziy7iLUFGMM/v-deo.html

It looks so much fun! I wish we have it here .
Get one started! All you need is a hill, check for rocks and stingers and a circle of cheese.
Gostei parabéns pela produção do vídeo 👏🏼 📹
this needs to be in slow motion
How many broken legs are there each year? I imagine there's been at least one open fracture or two.
And a nice big Toby carvery when you finish just down the road
Call me crazy but is the cheese necessary i understand you want to race downhill and get little hungry so why not just crack into that cheese before the race.
..england is such a great country with such great traditions. no way you can do this with a french camembert..
Simply incredible
I might have to go watch sometime as the event is only down the road for me
Why not have a go at chasing the cheese yourself?!😄
These people certainly know how to enjoy life 😍😍 long may it reign
