- Part 1 of our streetfood series where we explore the different foods available throughout Bali and Indonesia.
First we look at a conventional Nasi Goreng at a Warung, then we try road-side cooking in Denpasar and compare notes.
Looking forward to seeing your Street food series
Pls try Warung Nikmat at Jl Bakung Sari , Kuta - a favourite place for Oz
Nasi goreng is my favourite meal when we go to Bali it has changed alot over the years though, very hard to find a really tasty one, just found your vlog and enjoying them. Have booked hotel and flights for July. Can't wait to return to our second home.
As indonesian, i agree. So hard to find the tasty one bcs each seller has their own style and skill. But maybe u can try nasi goreng solaria, they r always good 😊

I’VE ALREADY VISITED BALI ON 29 DEC 2021 - 2 JAN 2022.....
Really enjoying your vids mate! Cheers.
Thanks Murray. Spot on, decent Australians enjoy the cheap cost of living in Indonesia but we give back. Happy to sponsor your programs. Stay healthy !
Thank Joe, when a single cuppa can feed a family for days it doesnt take much to make a few peoples lives a little better. I honestly think I get more out of helping them than they do out of the food. God Bless your support
My profile picture is when I last visited Bali just before COVID lock down. I sponsor BAWA (dog rescue and welfare) and do volunteer work for them when I can. Yes, agreed I enjoy the personal satisfaction of helping, donating or generous tips the most.
Cant beat a good nasi , watch those green chillis Murray..cold bintang always helps! Thanks for the vlog.

Hi Murray, only just discovered your channel couple of days ago, really been enjoying catching up your previously vlogs the past day. Nasi Goreng, I’d brush my teeth with it if I had the chance. Love trying different Warungs to compare their variations of spices and flavours. Rodney
Thanks mate. I'm loving making them..
I will be there in June
Spice is good
I’m going to Bali from Melbourne next week can you do some reviews in warung around Kuta beach area you have great life having to try different places to eat how do you judge to eat at street carts
Good question and the simple answer is - nearly all the street vendors have to apply for their 'territory" and are told what they can sell. If they are not good they dont stay in business. there is a lot of variety in flavor profiles but from what I have seen they are mostly all selling good food and to a fair standard of hygiene. I always bring some anti nausea and anti diarrhea pills to Bali and rarely have a tummy issue but if you keep away from the water (even for brushing your teeth) and only eat something that tastes ok, then you should be good.
Should try their SATAY @ Kuta Street Food
Fabulously good
Strongly Recommend
It is really good to share the Bali travel update. However I have some doubt below n many travelers might have the same questions :
1. Do foreign travelers (VoA country) need pcr test on day 3 again in Bali ?
2. Is it still compulsory to book 1st 3 night stay in certified hotel ? If not Can they book in any non certified hotel in Bali ?
3. Adults traveller from India got full doses of vaccine but his son of 12 yrs got only one vaccine, how is the regulation upon arrival in Bali.
4. Upon arrival in Bali airport, Do foreign travelers an obligatory to show proof of their bank account showing a minimum balance of usd 2000 as the rule applied ?
Your reply is required, thank you.
The rules are set to change in a few days, wait for the announcement on april
Wow! $2 AUD for a fried rice?? no wonder so many Aussies love Bali. Here in Sydney $2 wouldn't buy you a drink
If you lucky enough found 1,44UAD fried rice 👍🏻
Hey Murray, awesome content, just subbed. One suggestion: if you visit any places you really like, see if you can share the 'pinned' location on google maps. There's a function in google maps that lets you create a link and show any custom pin on a map. You could put that in the video descriptions and it would be a good way to let people know how to find the place or area. Cheers and thanks for the videos.
Great idea. Let me play with that and try it out
Sayang salam kenal aku dari Jakarta
