I don’t really understand how they had a massive perfect house in uber expensive London but can’t afford a similar house in an area that’s cheaper than the average 🤔🤷♀️
You're a star for sharing this Roldan!🤩 I'm having a tough day and am glad for this fantastic distraction. I'm glad they all found a new home and I wish them well.
The London couple were either terrified of being filmed or they're just sourpusses. Yikes! That first house was so nice.... yet two short people find the ceilings claustrophobic? Oh well.... The properties were all quite nice but their negative perceptions dominated every single viewing. I wonder what they thought when they saw the epipsode later...?
Kirsty This Number is no longer Available, I laughed so much, What Tony and Val wanted was a walk in do nothing, however Jennifer I am delighted she got what she wanted lovely Girl xxx
Phil wanted them gone ”call Kirstie if you need help” 😂 he tried to tell them he never wanted to see them again, Them: ”if Phils in the neighborhood, he’s very welcome to pop into see us” 😂
For the couple, I would have gone with the 1st house. It was 80k below budget, had the 4 bedrooms and these rooms were sizable. I also liked the layout of the house especially the garden. I would compromise on space for a turn-key below budget house. As for the lady, I loved the 1st house she saw and I am big on compromising on location especially if it means I get a below budget turn-key house with beautiful outside space.
I think Jennifer genuinely needed kirsty to realise it was location location location for her and that a 2 bed with lots of space downstairs was ok and she didnt need a 3 bed, That townhouse looking into the car park was dreadful!
As a student whose looking at really never being able to afford a home, its a special bewilderment I feel when people on these shows look at houses that I would kill to buy and go 'meh'
I don't understand why these people moved when they keep extolling the virtues of their previous home. They are in a totally different area with more modern homes abd should be more open-minded. What they consider claustrophobic most people would consider open and airy.
Exactly. I thought that 1st house they saw was really beautiful. It had the 4 bedrooms they wanted, 2 reception rooms and a small but tidy easy to maintain garden.
That couple was really stuck on the house they just left and nothing else measured up to it! Glad the young woman compromised and got something she was happy with. Lots of work for Phil & Kirsty!
When you change location as drastically as London to Belfast, you should first look at what the house styles are near the sea. You can’t just find the same thing everywhere. In each storyline, the buyer(s) had to adjust expectations, but the guided search by Phil and Kirstie helped them get there.
Jeez what a depressing soulless bunch of homes they were all shown! the smaller homes they found at the end were much better - and how the couple possibly thought they needed 4 bedrooms at their stage of life is beyond me!
Soulless? You have to be joking ... nothing wrong with the homes. The couple had no vision whatsoever or joy for that matter but negativity in abundance, am glad they could apologise😵💫
Val and Tony are fusssyyy!!! They gave up on beautiful properties for the most picayune things. They finally woke up to reality. I hope there was no work at all to get done on their chosen house because they would drive the contractor insane.
The expression “ set in your ways” concerning age is so true on this show……this couple in particular started out being fun and cheerful but by the end of the first showing they became picky and just plain annoying!
Then double that for back home after even a coffee meet let alone carrying shopping, AND consider the inclement weather endemic. An hour's walk in rain with groceries sounds awful
I worked it out from Phil's comment about having done the show for 23 years & then going to Wikipedia to find out when the show first aired. (Answer: 2023.)
I can maybe see being shown a house which is opposite of what I asked for but not when I only have a choice of 3 or 4 properties. Kirsty pulls this stunt often.
She showed things that met the criteria given, and what was available on the market, and within the given price range. There are always going to be compromises - either location, price, condition, space, features, style, etc.. The homeowner herself had not been able to afford what she wanted before Kirsty came along, and only at the end, after having her eyes opened, did she admit that she will have to change her expectations - which is how she eventually got her house!
Another genius who totally misses the fact that Kirstie clearly explains the tough market and the fact that there are only 8 houses in the region that come *close* to what the searcher is asking for. People seem to think that Phil and Kirstie can just go out and conjure up people's fantasy homes in exactly their location and at their price. If you ask for a new-build Victorian two-story bungalow terraced house with six bedrooms, in turnkey condition for 50,000 pounds, you're not going to get it.
All these people are negative out of habit or something...or they are led that way by the realtors...makes for a rather uncomfortable experience for all concerned...
Tony and Val are oozing with doom and gloom.. 🤦🏻♀️ What a negative couple..
Really love this show! *Thanks so much for uploading..* 👍
For someone who is so short, it is strange Tony feels claustrophobic with ceilings which are NOT that low.
I was struggling to watch their constant negativity and nitpicking ergh.
Just looking at their face makes you all suicidal. If I were Phil I'd be like... "Please, just evaporate!"
I was thinking- I hope I never get that negative- they’ve either had too hard or too easy a life….. can’t figure out which.
@@christinagiannaros9817 I skipped their bits after they rejected house 1 which I thought was lovely.
Thanks for the uploading and I am sorry for Phil having to deal with fussy couple Val and Tony and likewise for Kristie.
Not fussy. Just not clear about where their wish list meets with reality.
Excruciating to the max!
@@skyebluelake totally!
I really like how they give us follow ups on the buyers at the end of the show. A lovely episode, thank you! More, please!
Thank you for sharing! ❤❤❤
Thanx Roldan. I subscribe to your channel because you post this show. Love Phil & Kristy I feel so sorry that they have to deal with these people.

I would welcome Phil Spencer into my home any day. LOL!!! Love the new episodes
New episode!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Fantastic!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!! These make my day!!! I am very grateful.
Great. A new episode.
Thank you.

miserable buggers!
OMG Val and Tony are tedious. Just so tedious.
Kirsty This Number is no longer Available, I laughed so much, What Tony and Val wanted was a walk in do nothing, however Jennifer I am delighted she got what she wanted lovely Girl xxx
Don’t know why they gave up their house in London if it was so perfect. Val seems like such a misery.
I totally agree Carolyn.. Even at 44:31 when Val says she's _"very, very excited," it's hard to believe her with such a glum face.. 🤷🏻♀️😆
Well, they did find a house that makes them happy.
She died of exactly that. Misery.
They basically want their London house in Northern Ireland. You should never compare past houses to new.
Val & Tony, OMG 🙄🙄🙄
Woohoo! Love these new episodes 💕
Watching from Christchurch New Zealand ,amazing view ,thank you
The older couple were just so glum and picky. I know where they sold and they clearly want to sell at the top of the market and buy cheap and perfect.
Phil wanted them gone ”call Kirstie if you need help” 😂 he tried to tell them he never wanted to see them again,
Them: ”if Phils in the neighborhood, he’s very welcome to pop into see us” 😂
So much fun to see a new-to-me episode. Thank you.

Jennifer got a beautiful home in the end

You do a nice job of uploading!! Thanks
I can only picture what holiday parties look like under the old couple’s roof resemble.
ha ha!
Thank you :)
I think Val and Tony have a lovely sense of humour. Dead pan does not mean no sense of fun!
Thank you
I just skipped over Tony and Val. What a miserable lot.
First world problem (in huge house) : "feels claustrophobic", while the majority of the world's population don't have access to sanitation. 🥺
330,000 pounds, can’t even cover the cost for my studio apartment in Stockholm 😅
I cannot get over the unwillingness to walk half an hour.
Then double that for back home after even a coffee meet let alone carrying shopping, AND consider the inclement weather endemic.
An hour's walk in rain with groceries sounds awful
@@seaneendelong8065 that's seriously sad
Jennifer is lovely
Thanks🌸
Ty very much 🤗❤️
My gosh poor Phil with that couple.
What a pair of negative Nellie's...why did they move?
I've seen this one before, so it can't be new. But channel 4 has it as S42 E02. I'm so confused.
It is definitely new, Tina.. original air date was 23rd October 2024.. the same day the channel kindly uploaded it 👍
TFS.❤❤😊😊
I don't like the inside, or should I say the decor, of Jennifer's cottage, but from the outside it couldn't be more charming.
That is the perfect part to dislike- inside surface changes are easy.
I don't think anything 'lights tony up' phil - and you look absolutely exasperated with them!
Season 42? What year?
I worked it out from Phil's comment about having done the show for 23 years & then going to Wikipedia to find out when the show first aired. (Answer: 2023.)
How could they look at the last place. It's such a terrible buy.

Yes dour couple ---- waste of time.
Waste of time.
All these people are negative out of habit or something...or they are led that way by the realtors...makes for a rather uncomfortable experience for all concerned...
What's wrong with people? Go work in an African school for a month and get a grip on reality.... Goodness....
Gawd they are miserable - were you desperate to find folks in NI?! I get that they are fussy but they do they have to be so glum?!
