TLDR: I went to the mall with 3 friends and 2 of them died Me and my friendgroup(4 ppl including me) raided the mall but we had our shotguns in the trunk because we didn't want to constantly be over encumbered(We all had strength 3-5). We should've immediately grabbed those shotguns. We survived for awhile but inevitably 2 fell. They came back and one was able to get into the van so we did drive by refills of shotgun shells, but the hordes were too large and our inventory too small to hold the necessary amount. Finally the other who hadn't died yet was able to make it to a neighborhood nearby where he was safe. 5ish minutes later and a lot of walking away from the horde of 100+ zombies behind me and I managed to get into my car and bolt to the neighborhood. Edit note: We did not have multihit on so taking on the horde with melee was incredibly dangerous
You’d think when they trapped themselves in the office they could of use the curtains on the windows to make bedsheet and escape safely from the windows.
On the server settings you can deactivate the zombie spawn by setting "Respawn hours" to 0. Its cool to make a "persistent" run. Like "We need to clear this city to loot" and then you really indeed clear it and the only possibility is if one big group migrate back to the city. For it you also have to activate group migrations on the settings Also, use cars with sirens and then molotovs to clear areas And playing only throught the in-game communication, using walktalks, radios and etc makes your >>>immersion

"Alright Waltuh, here's what's gonna happen. We're gonna go to Rosewood, take shelter in a house, board the windows, raid the police station, and then sit here and read skills books" The end.
i only played this when the devs promised there would be cars in the game """"soon"""" and remember having to walk for hours in order to get from one city to another. I don't remember the place but it was filled with zombies and had to sneak everywhere to get food and try not to fight a single thing while living in the 2nd floor of some apartment while trying to heal a broken leg. Peak zombie game right there, i was more afraid of the wound being infected than getting killed by zombies.
The second the word "overwhelmed" slipped from his lips my eyes focused out and my mind jumped to a moment I was on the road, pulled into a random parking lot in the middle of nowhere and got jumped by the population of a small town and the friend that came to save me got jumped by whatever zomboids I didn't kill 0:07
