Far Cry 4 Ultra 2nd Test with R9 280x Toxic [ Flying Crocodile ]

- Hey guys.
This is my second test with the Sapphire R9 280x Toxic running Far Cry 4 on Ultra. This time its Game Version 1.03 and CCC Version 14.11.2 Beta.
On the top left corner you will see 2 fps's. The FPS on the left side is the FPS iam getting while playing/recording, and the one on the right side is the FPS which is written to the Video File.
Graphics Settings are the same like in the first Video :

Played on Full HD , recorded in HD - Converted from AVI to MPEG 4 AVC.
This is just an awesome Graphics Card !

I have the same card my cpu is fx 6350 3.9ghz
AND my game stutters pls help.
Well damn. I have a 7970ghz edition with a FX 8350 @ 4.5ghz. I play this on high/medium setting 1080p with dips to 35fps. Guess my processor is holding my card back :-(. Since your card is the one I have with a new name.
I checked today when playing and my card rarely gets pushed to a 100%. So I'm saving up for a 4790k and a Hero VII.
Are you happy with the performance you get with your 4790k + 280x in other games too :-).
For this price the R9 280x Toxic is just awesome. I dont know any other card which performs on this level on this price class.
Of course its a bit loud but thats no problem for me.
ICEMANZIDANE Yes it's really a little beast of a card. To bad my Cpu pulls it down :-/. Time to upgrade it I guess :-P.
I dont think that the CPU is the problem, of course its not as good as mine but maybe its the GPU, i dont have the normal R9 280x, its the Toxic Version, the fastest R9 280 board out there.
Nah. I looked at JayzTwoCents video about bottlenecks. And if your GPU isn't on 99-100% usage all the time your CPU isn't god enough. And my GPU hovers around 83-92% and rarely 98%. Thx anyway :).
But keep in mind that its important how well the game is optimized, if the game isnt really optimized than the GPU cant do much about it, same goes for CPU. There are many 280 boards, and they are all different.
