What's up guys! I have had a little bit more time to jam on my set lately, so here's another cover that some have requested in the past. I have played this song a couple of times, but it has been a while. I know this song is played in many churches today, so I thought this would be a good resource for some of you.
I chose this particular version with Kari Jobe singing it because I think this is the best version out there. It has a good flow while the other ones seem to be loud 2/3 of the song. Maybe this new angle of the camera will help you learn the bass pattern better. The only difficult part of this song is the pre-chorus drum solo part, but most of it is pretty simple. In order to make this a great worship song in a congregational setting, you just have to be sensitive to volume control and flow. That's what makes this song powerful. The chorus is your typical 4/4 worship song beat with the bass hitting on the 1's and 2's the entire time, including some fills. There's not much complexity but it's just having the right touch and knowing where your band is heading when it comes to volume. Well I hope you guys enjoy this cover and keep on worshiping the Lord!
