Good easy to understand video - Thanks. Three more seconds on the end of the video to hear the difference in noise pitch when the tab reaches bottom would have be handy. I assume it will sound similar to an outboard limited reached?
He tells us that placement is important yet doesn't say much else about it. It looks like the end of the tap is about 4" or 5" from the chine, why? Why not I" or flush with the chine? What about the bottom of the hinge? is it flush with the bottom or up?

How do you connect the trim tab key control to the batteries?

Having just purchased a set of trim tabs your instructions are way out of date. That includes this video. Could you please update.
