Wallace Chung is such a talented, gifted, handsome, charming actor. He actings are just not limited with facial expressions, his body, but also with his EYES. It’s like his eyes has its own soul. Through his eyes, you can feel and see the happiness, the sadness, the worrying, hurt, disappointment, and his forgiving. It’s amazing to watching him.
Oh you hit the nail on the head, his EYES do say it all, I saw this when I watched "My Sunshine", when MoSheng comes back from having "coffee" with Yuan, just take notice of his expression with his eyes, it's amazing they say it all. His expressions with his EYES are what tells you what he's thinking, that's what caught my eye with his acting, annnd "Because of Love" is another one I absolutely love, I love the scene where he is on the couch talking and slurring his speech from drinking, he's talking to Vicky about his "long lost love" and how she stabbed him in the heart, he played that part of a inebriated lost soul like no other actor could do. He is a PLEASURE to watch on screen. I Just love this beautiful man.

Love this incredibly talented artist ! 🤩

This Drama was by far one of my top 5 favorites. The main characters were not hot-headed and were quick to resolve their issues while learning to love and trust each other. It was a REFRESHING, simple yet very elegant cdrama. Must watch. ☺️
Curious as to what the other four are? I’m a bit newer to C dramas (historical). My favorite so far was Love Like The Galaxy. This def made my top five though…my first time seeing this ML/FL…both were excellent actors!

The best Asian era drama I've ever seen in my life, number #1 on my list of Asian Era dramas. I re-watch the entire show at least once every other month. So beautiful. Amazing acting. Great and passionate love story. Great lessons. Great production. Good casting. Thank you to the makers of the show and the actors on the show and the entire crew, this was so worth it and the best.

I enjoyed this series very much. It was sweet, loving, and written well. All the actors expressed their characters very well. I enjoyed the way the love grew from animosity, to friendship, to partners, and lovers. I have seen the main actress in another series and she was cute, but her adult role in this series as a mature, smart matron truly showed her talent and made the series beautiful.

This was the most romantic drama I have ever watched. The writers were perfect in creating the characters especially the male lead. Every romantic writers should study this story. I have watched three historical dramas recently. I could not believe the abuses the female leads had to endure to get crumbs of affection from their husbands. Not this one. He was dedicated, considerate and loyal thru the entire story. He was in love!

If you want to know if it is worth watching: yes, it totally is. I really enjoyed the whole series. You can find hate, affection, deep love, friendship and two really strong lead actors who develop together to overcome all the hardships in their life. As for the ending: yes, it has a nice happy end.

Even to this current day Muslim men are permitted to marry 4 wives so it's not surprising that in a patriarchal society in ancient times concubines existed. But this system was not followed by the ML. The FL was a very strong character actually its a heroine centric series. You will definitely enjoy it. I loved the beautiful architecture and the custom and traditions of a very beautiful culture. No one will regret watching such a beautiful strong love story.
Excellent story, excellent acting! This is one of the most realistic historical dramas I’ve watched - no fantasy or flying leaps. The story is easy to follow, and while it starts out slowly and builds, much like the relationship between the two main leads. It was nice to see such a well grounded, SMART main female character. This was my first drama seeing Wallace Chung - so handsome, and his character was so well played. Bonus for me was a feel good story ending.
Oh My, you NEED to watch all of Wallace Chung's series or shows, he IS the best. You should watch "All Out of Love" which has 70 episodes BUT, they are all interesting though, not boring. Also, "My Sunshine and Because of Love" the two best I feel, I have watched these two close too two hundred times, NOT JOKING!!! I am obsessed, sorry to say, with WC's perfected acting and being so handsome is sure a plus. I just love this guy!!
I am watching that one now, but it’s not holding my interest as much. The story isn’t as cohesive to me, and the unrealistic flying through the air bothers me a little I guess. But the actors are good 👍🏻
Since watching Yanxi palace I’ve been obsessed with finding another drama like it where the main character is a smart woman that’s able to outsmart the evil ladies at every turn even if she’s set back she’s able to make a comeback stronger I saw clips of this drama and hopefully it fits

Same plot theme as Minglan, but less intense and dramatic, less stress. The leads have better chemistry too. I think I like this one better.

「鐘漢良」在「十月圍城」一個人扮演兩個角色是一流演技。我看過他的很多作品。最好的是「十月圍城」，其次的是「何以笙簫默」。他拍的「一枝獨秀」也很好，但那片給他合作的女主角 Angela Baby 弄到不倫不類。他年輕時的「天龍八部」扮演「喬峰」也非常好。他的第一齣的TVB電視劇好像叫「親情了」扮演有自閉症的兒子是非常非常的入戲和有真實感。他和他的妹妹Jackie在一起參加Amazing Race 是真情流露, 最後贏得Infinity SUV. 我也為他高興。希望他有機會看到這評語知道我們在「三藩市」的觀眾也是他的擁躉。我在這處祝福他萬事如意，一生一世都順利。👍👏😇

钟的纳兰容若气质一流。他接的戏质量参差不齐，但是塑造人物上钟还是很成功的，所谓演什么像什么。
這套劇是我第一次看鍾漢良的劇集，極之喜欢，在這之前從不知内地的戲拍得這麽精彩，包括劇情的铺排，拍攝的手法，男女主角，副角，服裝，埸境等等铺排得極好。自小不是追劇人，從未發覺有甚麽劇集能被吸引，卻突然沉迷這套劇，更迷上鍾漢良，他真好演技，每個微表情都表達得極好。

This was the most romantic drama I have ever watched. The writers were perfect in creating the characters especially the male lead. Every romantic writers should study this story. I have watched three historical dramas recently. I could not believe the abuses the female leads had to endure to get crumbs of affection from their husbands. Not this one. He was dedicated, considerate and loyal thru the entire story. He was in love!

If you want to know if it is worth watching: yes, it totally is. I really enjoyed the whole series.
You can find hate, affection, deep love, friendship and two really strong lead actors who develop together to overcome all the hardships in their life.
As for the ending: yes, it has a nice happy end.
I just dont like a male lead has many wives.

@@mlovespring7892 this is set in fuduel times. As the story unfolds you will find the reasons and begin to understand the system. Even to this current day Muslim men are permitted to marry 4 wives so it's not surprising that in a patriarchal society in ancient times concubines existed. But this system was not followed by the ML. The FL was a very strong character actually its a heroine centric series. You will definitely enjoy it. I loved the beautiful architecture and the custom and traditions of a very beautiful culture. No one will regret watching such a beautiful strong love story.

Excellent story, excellent acting! This is one of the most realistic historical dramas I’ve watched - no fantasy or flying leaps. The story is easy to follow, and while it starts out slowly and builds, much like the relationship between the two main leads. It was nice to see such a well grounded, SMART main female character. This was my first drama seeing Wallace Chung - so handsome, and his character was so well played. Bonus for me was a feel good story ending.

Oh My, you NEED to watch all of Wallace Chung's series or shows, he IS the best. You should watch "All Out of Love" which has 70 episodes BUT, they are all interesting though, not boring. Also, "My Sunshine and Because of Love" the two best I feel, I have watched these two close too two hundred times, NOT JOKING!!! I am obsessed, sorry to say, with WC's perfected acting and being so handsome is sure a plus. I just love this guy!!
I am watching that one now, but it’s not holding my interest as much. The story isn’t as cohesive to me, and the unrealistic flying through the air bothers me a little I guess. But the actors are good 👍🏻

Since watching Yanxi palace I’ve been obsessed with finding another drama like it where the main character is a smart woman that’s able to outsmart the evil ladies at every turn even if she’s set back she’s able to make a comeback stronger
