Fantastic content! I loved the watch along aspect of the video. The fact that you hadn’t seen the match but was looking for things that had come up led to a unique type of almost shoutcasting analysis, where you were somewhat commentating the game but using it as a jumping off point for your analysis - it was actually very unique as you obviously wouldn’t do this in actual commentating! One thing that I think would be of real benefit is that in certain sections, it might be good to have a visual demonstration of some of the points you’re talking about. Take, for example, during Navi’s CT pistol - you discussed how the ticket (I think?) CT was protected from most flashes. Having perhaps one or two key exceptions on screen would have visually enhanced your point by showing what flashes bypass what you are saying. Sometimes, expanding on stuff post-round is also fantastic, like when you talked about b1t finding the medium between aggressive and passive lurking - maybe having a little part between rounds to explore some of the routes that he’s used would be fantastic. Obviously, don’t go overboard, but there’s definitely some post-recording stuff you can add to show what you mean! I used to follow CSGO back in around 2017 (Went to the Krakow Major), but I haven’t really followed since 2018. Back then, Blad3 was a tier 2/3 IGL with a regimented style but a lack of results stemming from firepower. i think 2016/2017 we were still perfecting sequential map control, and starting to move towards more active map control. best example is what I used to call the "VP Default" on inferno, where you would take banana and apts then take mid then decide where to end the round. in 2018+ I think teams realized that it was a bit too readable to go for control like that, so moved towards more actively taking different parts of map control at the same time or in differing patterns. sometimes you see now teams will take mid at the same time as top banana, etc. 2020/2021 I think teams became a bit more active on CT side, rather than just holding control and then giving it up little by little and then gamblestacking they'll look for mid round moments to reagress and take map control back while semi-stacked (inferno: think rotate 3b, retake top banana, rotate to 4A, retake top mid, etc). 2022+ you'll often see IGLs now talk about explosiveness, where you can't be running things at the same pace you have to be able to catch teams off guard with an aggro play out of nowhere (i heard furia in 2019/20 and VP in 2021+ as great examples of this), basically make it so your opponents can't easily track what's going on and at what timing i think the change to CS2 has moved towards a lot of counter-stratting and giving agency to individuals to make the correct play when they see openings

navi is good for many reasons. blade + alexi, they complement each other. Wonderful has played very well, he hits easy shots every now and then and takes clutches. bit is always good. iM has played really well after a difficult start. and then jL, major mvp....... there are also others on the team's journey who weld the team together
Really excited to see the final today. Eternal Fire isn’t a team NaVi likely has tailored strategy against, and Eternal Fire has a lot of potential individually. EF won against Vitality and gave MIBR a proper schooling, so if they are having another good day they can give NaVi the same kind of issues TS had been giving before this event.

Spirit on the other hand is raw, but raw talent. Donk of course, quickly becoming on the best, but his whole team has had some crazy play or another. They're all sharp. Shiro was so fast. Magixx on Dust 2, several multikills. Chopper got a number of impactful kills. Zontix, might be the weakest player on the team today, but he often gets an opening pick and he's at least average. Everyone on Spirit is young and raw. Raw talent isn't as solid without seasoned strategy.
On R15 I don’t think Spirit was at all aware that the window smoke missed. When the second nade pops the top mid smoke TS seems to be ready for aggression from connector, which makes little sense unless the window is smoked. Wonderful and jL are playing shooting range 2, not counter-strike. Overall NaVi right now is playing on almost another level. People confuse not having a star player to having four of them: in last three months everyone except aleksib is above 1.20 rating. Aleksi is seemingly calling well, given Blade often wont take a timeout even when the team is losing rounds in a row. Also it seems only thing keeping Aleksibs stats under 1.00 is his team playing well.
You know that navi team was much more flawed than this one? People 'doubted' if they could replicate a major win because the field at the time was especially weak and because both stats and the eye test would tell you that the team was very flawed. Pretty sure they lost more rounds in that major than they won. Not saying it isn't 'deserved' but to say that people were doubting that team as if it is the same team it is today is just not accurate.
