Just read all the lovely comments to you - I concur. I am wondering, with amusement, what a therapist would have to say about all of us. Wishing everyone could experience the pleasure we feel from this wonderful occupation. Thank you so very much K3N.

That was so very helpful. I confess to having watched a few videos on 'how to make fat quarter bundles' but they were a) pernickety b) wasteful and c) involved ironing. This is much more my cup of tea and completes the k3n method of processing cloth.
I love how everything you do celebrates the cloth yet with a quiet but firm overview of who is in control. I guess that confidence comes with experience. Thank you Kathryn.

Aren’t we the lucky once, to have such good friends giving us there scraps and leftovers. Better than a box of chocolates. At the moment I am working on a series of fabric collages where I use mostly my friends printed and dyed fabrics. I sorted the bag I got from her in color bundles.

Hi K3n, if I had only known it, whilst you were doing this, early this morning, I was less than 100 miles away doing the same. That would have added to my pleasure. I have ‘fiddled’ my bundles a little as a sort of triage system for a project, but sometimes that misses on the serendipitous. I might also have done a little iro£#&, but we all have our weaknesses!

This is really inspiring and I feel like organizing my fabric now, because I have them in a kind of chaotic organization 😂, I know where I have them, but I wouldn’t be able to explain why they’re in this or that basket 😂! I had never thought of bundles!
I don’t have anyone to give me fabric or even scraps, so I wait that the second hand clothes shop (where I buy some clothes) has every piece for the price of 1€ each! 😃 They do these kinds of sales every two months (at this time, the pieces of clothes are not what I would wear, but they’re great to stitch) 😃💙🩷💛❤️🤎💜🧡🩵♥️🩶💚

@K3n - I loved this! I have made all kinds of kits of things but never thought of this kind of a sort! I still have a half-dozen buckets of scrapish bits and pieces to bring some sort of order to - mostly just to make them more visible in an eye-pleasing way! I am genetically predisposed to sorting, so it is quite pleasurable. To actually use the sorts is something else! I used to sort my beads by type and color until I realized that it was the spills of several containers that made my eyes dance, thus changing the thing in me that says THIS is how I like it! 🪡🧵🪡
