Randy your music, your songs has deep meaning. So many of us relate to your music more than you know. For myself I can honestly say I've completely wore out cassette tapes of yours listening to them over and over back when I first started listening to you in the 80's... I was truly hooked. I'm a traditionalist in country music all the way and you kept it traditional your entire career... thank you for not compromising real country music. You are indeed loyal artist to the genre... murder on music row sure didn't change you any... and that's a good thing.

Randy has put out a lot of amazing music over the course of his career. But this album and his Rise and Shine gospel album have always been my favorites. Every song on this album should have been released as singles. Because they were all stellar songs. That had "hit" written all over them. But labels at the time would only commit to releasing 4 singles from an album.
