Came back to tell you, I've been thinking about what you said in this video regarding putting our passion into our art is what causes others to feel it. It's good to be reminded that our art has purpose. :) xx
Froyle thank you so much for this video and information I love how all your artwork turned out. I just need to stiff out of my comfort zone and not worry about what other people think again thank you for the video. Have a blessed day.
Froyle, this was absolutely fantastic. It made me think of something that got drummed into me as a child and beyond. Never put patterns on pattern. I believe that has caused a huge problem in my creative abilities. You do it all the time, and it always looks brilliant. Can you please do a video covering that? How to do it successfully. What patterns do or don't work together etc, etc. Also, those ginkgo leaves are awesome. I need to find some. And what you did with the foil sheets is a great idea. I have to try it. Thankyou so much for what you do!
Your enthusiasm is wonderfully contagious but you have a diabolical side because now I can't resist foil anymore! I feel a rather expensive trip to the art store coming up!
far more impressing than the naked facts you are presenting, is your sympathic laughter in between which is so refreshing and all is good! )big smile) :-) xx
Your work is amazing! I love watching you because you are so positive and I love your laugh. I’m new to gelli printing and haven’t done every many, you make look so fun. I also like your idea that if something doesn’t work out the way thought don’t trash it because later it could work out with something else. 🥰💕
Believe it or not, I never thought of collaging onto canvases! Great idea, and gives me some thoughts about how I can deal with some of the myriad new, blank canvases my mum left in her stash when she died a couple of years ago! Thinking ..... Thanks for these great tips, my favourite was the last, bonus one. I've found it to be true time and again In my glass work - if it didn't go to plan, put it away until the plan fades. It can be amazing how good it looks after a couple of weeks. Also, your ugly is often someone else's fabulous! You wouldn't believe it!!
I’ve been watching you learning how to jelly print this is the first I watched of what to do with the jelly prints because I’m overloaded with them. I was very impressed. I’ve done a few pieces, but you gave me more ideas. May I ask though can you do a video on how you do your hanging canvases and where do you get such thick canvases, thank you very much
I loved this class! Do you teach some of the these techniques at a slower pace on another site? I follow you on Patreon. Can I find them there? I just love your work!!! 😍❤
Great video. I just tried the liquitex pouring medium as a varnish and i was a little disappointed. I found it left streaks on my finish. How should I apply the medium to my canvas?
@@FroyleArthello again. What causes the paper to buckle up after I lay a coat of varnish? I varnished a couple of pieces with no problem. One was a canvas board, and a tiny canvus which came out great. But then I applied a coat on an 8x10 canvas and the paper/gel print buckled up. Would you know why that might have happened? And is there a way of fixing it? Thanks.
I want to buy your 3 column dance moves on the pm artist studio site which carries your stencils- can you tell me the approximate size of the individual characters on the 8x10 stencil and the 5x7 stencil? I have emailed pm artist studio but have not received a response. Thank you.
Can I ask you about pricing? I know you’re a professional who has been selling your artwork for years so I can’t compare my work to yours, but figuring out pricing is driving me nuts. People are interested in my prints, and I also have issues with my macrame plant and wall hangers, I’ll set a price and people (usually friends who care about me) chew me out for not charging enough. So I add a few bucks to the price and then people (usually strangers) say my prices add too high. I have professional artist friends who charge insane prices because they want to make more money. Personally, I’d rather sell to the masses, not the elite…meaning I’d rather more people are able to enjoy what I make if they love it. But I don’t want to sell myself short. ARGH!!!! And don’t get me started on the imposter syndrome I suffer when it comes to signing my work. I need therapy…lol 🙄
You have to decide what you re worth. How much do you want for each piece of art and stick to it! Don't listen to what everyone else says, go with your own heart! Cheers

Great tips. Can you also finish it with mod podge instead of the mediums you used?
I haven’t tried modge podge! 😘 cheers
Love the video! What kind of tape are you using on the back?
Framing tape 👍🏼
I'm not sure what it is but the Ginko leaf canvas reminds me of Gustav Klint
It’s the gold opulence definitely! 👍🏼😘
Great ideas! Thank you 😊 Where can I find the Deco Foil? It’s not listed in the description box. 💙🦋

May I ask, how are you adhering the prints onto the canvas. (Watching a second time ❤)
With Liquitex Matte gel Medium, it's my favourite! Cheers
@@FroyleArt thanks!
Great video. I just tried the liquitex pouring medium as a varnish and i was a little disappointed. I found it left streaks on my finish. How should I apply the medium to my canvas?
I haven’t had that happen, maybe it’s the batch? I had terrible trouble with liquid glass, so I know it happens! I just brush it on 👍🏼 cheers
Thanks.

New update: The next morning I was very happy to see a smooth finish with no buckling. Amen! 😊

Do you add an adhesive for the Deco foil or is the paint wet enough?
Yes I use the Pebeo Mixton Relief Paste brand 👍🏼amzn.to/3wibNmy
Thank you

Sell prints and simple macrame keychains for the masses. Charge more for originals and bigger items.
