I am in Hatfield, I’ve made this drive down to Orlando many times, but I try to leave between 3 and 4 AM. I’ve gotten down to Orlando by 7 o’clock at night… checked in and got a good might sleep
It’s a long ass drive though… And the drive back is brutal. The drive down there is nice, I enjoy it.

As a kid in the car with my parents it was annoying.. but as time went on I love to do car trips now.
I’m stressed watching the video! That’s a long drive. Then to lock your keys in the car, then your mates deflated… almost a 3 stooges episode! It was an adventure!
My hero 🦸 I remember leaving Philly and driving down to the superbowl in Ft. Lauderdale. Yea the stadium is in Ft. Lauderdale. The parking lot is Tampa 😀. With one other driver straight through great video captain next time rent a conversation van 👍🏽🇺🇸

I’m in Delaware. Philadelphia born and raised now living midstate DE . I left Maryland because it was too expensive.
The Buc-ees in Colorado is even bigger than the one you visited. It has only been open for a month and is jam packed every day.
I love south of the border, no road trip on 95 is complete without stopping there for me. You gotta hit it at the right time though.

Nice. I make this drive all the time to visit family. I grew up in Orange Park - a suburb just south of Jacksonville. I moved up to Philly in the late '00s. Back then I could to/from Jax/Philly for $50 each way usually, but now it's about $300 each way. VA is *THE WORST* part of the trip. DC is the 9th circle of hell. Beyond that, I love the drive. It's usually cheaper than airfare to drive if you have 2+ people, even with gas prices the way they are now.
Ayo Cap, I love Bucces. Every year when I do my family road trip I always stop by. The bathrooms are spotless and the food is pretty good and it’s convenient when you need to get something. I do agree that it could definitely get overwhelming depending on the time of day you go.
From right outside DC until you pass Quantico traffic is a mess. That's why I take the train to Richmond.
you should try taking amtrak down one day, you don't have to tire yourself out driving, bathrooms and food on the train, and sleeping in coach isn't too bad.
Would you happen to know how long a train ride would take to go to Florida from PA? I always wanted to catch a train from 30th St. station and go to Florida.

The furthest north as far as beach towns are concerned with Palm Trees is Virginia Beach but Myrtle Beach has tons of Palm Trees,Alligators and Geckos,warm beach water,it has more of that Florida feel to it.The offseason motel rates are super cheap there also.I'm not sure about the motel rates at Daytona this time of year.Both Daytona Beach and Myrtle Beach had a similiar vibe there when I was growing up as a kid.

There are no tolls after Maryland. Florida uses Sunpass, not Ez pass to use certain lanes.

Damn, man. I don't think I could do that trip. That was way too long in the car for me. I am from Port Richmond and moved to Florida so I can definitely say, Yes, Jesus, confederate flags and accident lawyers. More up there than south Florida but its here too.
