I use this mic for VO and livestreaming. It really is an amazing mic. And you're absolutely right about the placement - about 4 inches away from the mouth, about 20-30 degrees off axis, is ideal for bright, rich vocal recording.

Great sounding mic! Any recommendation for a bi-directional condenser to match a TLM-102 for some mid-side acoustic recording?
I use a Golden Age active Ribbon mic. It’s active so you don’t have to worry about phantom power. Got mine at Sweetwater.
