I truly understand all this and I see myself in my early 20s here. I was obsessed with making everything look like time-bent silent movies. I was so interested in so many things, burned myself out, and quit college a semester before graduating. I didn't know what I wanted and had zero guidance or financial backing, and depression started creeping in and I made a few poor career choices for a while. If I learned anything the last 20 years, it's listen to your intuition rather than the "shoulds." Keep paths open, and the opportunities will start trickling toward you. I'm doing exactly as I please now, and that generates much more than the "shoulds." If you're having fun, keep having fun. Now I take my time-bending to photography and music videos, and that worked. I believe in you!

Always (ironically) a comfort hearing from those that have felt similar to what I am feeling who have went on to do great things and do what they enjoy. I am proud of you for taking the break from school to focus on yourself and to think about what you want. I didn't go to college until I was 26. I personally feel college is not for everyone. Thank you for being so strong and sharing your story. It even helps old people like me. Love you, and think the world of you.
Hey Andrew, I know this video is close to two years old at this point, but I wanted to say how much this video resonates with me. The feelings and thought patterns that you’re describing, the intermingling of depression/anxiety, not knowing what to do in life or in your career, how it all exacerbates each other, it’s exactly what I’ve been going through since probably junior/senior year of high school. I’m 26 now, and still struggling with it but I’d like to think I’ve improved a great deal especially in the last couple years.
I just found your channel today after UA-cam recommended your latest vid and I am so grateful to have stumbled across these vlogs in particular because it helped me feel less alone.
Your channel is great btw and I’m surprised you don’t have more subscribers based on how quality your vids are!

So glad you were able to see my vids on depression... even if they are almost two years old. It is still something I struggle with to this day. 2022 was a good year. I have regressed some in 2023. It has been a tough year for a number of reasons. But, like everyone, I'm always hopeful for the New Year. Thank you for sharing your story with me and I hope that you continue to do well. Andrew, my gosh after watching your video it sounds like you've already graduated from college. Here's some unsolicited advice. Do the things that bring you joy. Make a list of those things. Somewhere in that list maybe a lightbulb will go off that will give you the direction you're seeking. I see someone that's very talented in front and behind the camera. Have you thought about Film Production? There's a film production company in downtown OKC called Prairie Surf Studios Home - Prairie Surf Studios they're always hiring and encouraging non industry people to go get the necessary education, (that varies on position) so they can hire them. Movies like Killers of the Flower Moon. Right the production of the mob TV series Tulsa King on Paramount + staring Silverster Stallone is being filmed in OKC and Tulsa. They're asking people to sign up for extras. But what I'm saying is that you're a smart young man and I feel like the film and tv industry would be a good fit. Or a psychologist lol. Reservation Dogs on FX filmed in Okmulgee OK. Golden Globe winner. Just saying.
