totally agree with you. like, no one should cover The Cure.. although Cure covered world in my eyes..but it was a nice cover, it made justice to the song.

I like Brian Molko's music, but his voice is way too high and nasal for this song. Dave Gahan's throaty voice suits it perfectly.

As a hard core mode fan I quite like this cover and I'm also a fan of Placebo. It is way better than some other covers people have done of DM.(And we all know which ones).

I love Placebo but I generally don't like covers. Idk. Brian's voice is almost too whiny-sounding for this song. But I LOVE him! Brian is very sexy. But...just no one can really compare to Dave's voice. Dave's voice makes me sweat in places I didn't know I had ears. :D
