Good video, thanks for taking the time to make it. Wanted to mention a few things: - The wood/stone/metal glass tiers should all provide greenhouse effect as well. If they aren't, that's a bug. (There was a game-wide bug recently that apparently broke all greenhouse parts but that should be fixed now). - The borderless glass options are already live. They are variants on most of the ASR glass parts. - The Structure Gun will have a mode to change/copy glass settings from a distance (it wasn't set up yet at the time these sneak peaks were shared). - I intend to release Update 5 in the next 2 or 3 days. It will include the Adjustable Glass feature which includes the opacity options and different styles like the stained glass. It will add a Metal Glass tier. It will add the Structure Gun and Paint Sprayer. And it will have the usual improvements, tweaks, and bug fixes for existing features and parts. Thanks again for making the video!

Your videos are so awesome I like watching anything you've made. It's really cool to see what mods are before clustering your server. Their is another mod I really like. (Kilinger's additional rustic) it isn't very big however it's got very awesome walls with windows and very unique roofs ,very cool looking storages and beds ect. And they look even cooler painted I like to mix wood with stone and it really compliments stone in my opinion
Thanks so much for the kind words! I have played a bit with Klinger's Rustic and I do really like a lot of the features! I love that it has arches! I did a small build with it on a stream a month or so back, but haven't made any edited videos on it yet.
@@scottwall7650 RR-Home Deco I think has cabinets and kitchen appliances and a lot of more modern decor. It's a HUGE mod, like 2 gigs or something, so if you have a lot of other mods already or big mods you may not have space for it. If you look I know there are other storage mods that have been added, just search storage or deco in the curseforge mod browser. Make sure to read all the info for the mod, and click "comments" to pop out a browser window and see more pictures, questions and answers, a link to the modder's discord, a lot more info.
So much of this stuff should be base game. Lets face it, modders are the reason ark has had the successful longevity. Without mods i would have put it down years ago. I did, actually. I played for years on xbox and recently got a pc. I can never go back 😂
Yes for real! Ark owes so much to the modding community. 💜 I love the ability to customize the game how I like. A lot of these things they won't add to the base game, because 100% official PvP players would find a way to exploit stuff lol. Official PVP is why we can't have nice things. 😆
@@austinstoner1988 there are things I like about ASA, don't get me wrong, but I also feel pretty nostalgic for ASE. We thought it was buggy... but it ran smooth as silk compared to ASA. And with mods... there's years and years worth of content there still.
@SongbirdGaming 100 percent agree sis. I've put evolved down then picked it back up so many times. If you enjoy survival games 2 more to try are no mans sky (modded tf out) and subnautica (same) theu are amazing. I'm just waiting for ascended to get better optimized and see how the p2w bs goes. As far as ase goes I like the vanilla path. Just with more options. More dinos, structures, maps, armor, weapons, etc etc. There are some great mods. No untameables, krakens better dinos, and s+ are 3 I cannot play without. 💓👌

Dagnabbit (as i believe you Americans say) Songbird! I got o taken in by the coming/new feature at the end, that i forgot the 1 or 2 critiques i had of the mod at the beginning :) One thing i would love to see, i the Thatch expanded to the same amount of parts as Wood/tone/Metal But i assume that very niche as a request because theyre so weak structurally and defensively The gun will be a welcome doodad, mostly for cycling the variants after placing, like adding the cross in the windows, i added crosses to my Tower on your server, then didnt like it so had to go around removing them all, one at a time But youre so right, im not sure i would even still be playing Ark without some of these mods, Ark is great, dont get me wrong, but the mods make it SO much better Oh yeah! thats was one thing, you just taught me where the secret and cellar doors are, i have been unlocking the basic parts just to get these "missing" parts, i kinda assumed they were causing him problems and would add them later 🏛🏗🏘🏚🏢
@@glennbraggjr.2627 you have to use the modded doors. Not the regular ones. And then they auto open and close by default. You only need to use the radial if you want to disable auto opening or closing.
@@glennbraggjr.2627 you have to install the mod, and then unlock the engrams. ASR smithy unlocks with thatch tier. You have to unlock the tier you want to use, as I showed in the video, each tier is one engram. Like ASR thatch tier, ASR wood tier, etc. Then you craft the ASR doors in the ASR smithy. Not in your inventory.
i been saying for years ark need to do this, make the engrams look cleaner and less complicated, and save paying for something you will only use once, IE 10 Engrams for all wood, 20 for all stone 50 for all metal. numbers can be changes to suit but just add pack buy the set and less messing around
I'm here BECAUSE of the mod, not to find good mods. I absolutely love this mod so much, although glitch due to me being on console (polygons are great lol) it does render eventually.... My favourite piece so far is the curved cross frame wood glass wall. I fell in love with that immediately. My favourite feature is the ability to open and close the building menu for them so it doesn't clutter your crafting menu with tonnes of pieces
Great video 😊, question trying to build a bridge from the main island to carno island do you know of a mod to counter build hight limit , the pillars wont reach the bottom of the ocean.
Like a lot of things in Ark, there are multiple ways to solve the same problem. That's one of the things I love about Ark. I don't know of a mod that counters the build height limit specifically. But I do know of a tiny mod that gives you ceilings that provide foundation support... which would mean you don't need pillars reaching to the bottom of the ocean. Just switch to using the foundation ceilings, and you can build as far as you like without needing to add pillars or foundations, other than where you want them for cosmetic reasons. The mod is just called Foundation Ceilings and it's crossplay.
I don't use D+, but I use QOL+ which I believe is similar? And no, haven't had it conflict. Most conflicts happen if two mods are both trying to affect the same thing. So if they are both trying to change something about the base game or something like that. QOL+ adds the pull function which is just an addition to the UI, and it adds its own crafting stations and storage boxes that have more slots etc., and Arkitect structures remastered adds its own structures. Since neither of them are really changing anything about the base game, just adding things, they're pretty safe to combine with other mods.
This mod is so amazing... There a so many possibilities... But It would be really cool if pullers can snap on the roof pieces in the angle of the pillar

That's amazing but it would be really cool if you can snap straight or all pillar on the roof with the angle of the roof. And then have the possibility to snap a ceiling with this angle on top of the pillar.... Crasy built are so difficult in ASA so it would be really cool addition of possible angles

And you can put piller on the roof elements, but they are then again at a right angle to the ground...I would find it really cool if they would snap at a 90 degree angle to the roof element...that would give some new angles and possibilities in the mod that are unfortunately not possible in ASA
@@lanao5136 are you sure? In my last building vlog video that just came out today, at one point I was experimenting with railings on the roof and I'm sure I was snapping them to triangle roofs. Or did you mean the gables? Sloped walls? If so, I agree. Should mention this on his discord.
@@brianmartin7329 this is a structure mod. Not custom cosmetics. So unless they add it to a modded official cluster, no. Unofficial is way more fun though, IMO.

Got referred to the mod by lea in the Ark Discord. Thank you for making this excellent video (not even done watching it). Gimilkhad gets their mod on my cluster, you get a sub from me. Replaces one of my mods (Autodoors)...reminds me in several ways of Castles, Keeps, and Forts from ASE....but so much better. My only issue....I just got done building my vanilla base on the Center....now I have to rebuild! 🪟
@@harrisos3 one of many reasons why unofficial is better in my opinion. I understand why WC don’t have lots of mods on official, because there are infinite combinations of mods. They can’t possibly include all of them. There are some official servers that have some certain mods. But all the official servers are basically clustered together the various types. So all of the small tribes PVP servers are clustered, all of the PVE servers, all of the Conquest ones or whatever. They can’t cluster servers that have different mods. They can’t know all of the details and quirks of every single mod to allow them to properly balance things for official. It would end up being a way that people would cheat. So it would make things infinitely more complicated. It’s much better to have your own server or play on someone else’s private server that has a fun collection of mods. And also rates that let you touch grass and live your life and not have to be in-game hours every single day.

I'm loving this mod. The only thing that Bugs me is that we can't snap railings on the sloped triangle pieces.

ASR doesn't as far as I'm aware, but there are other mods that do. QOL+ can use most of the old S+ ini settings, I think including that one.
