My grandfather's machinist's handbook has using a piece of chalk to center a workpiece in the chuck. When I became a machinist I made sure I bought several dial indicators🤣
A beautiful DSG lathe lovingly built by engineers , cared for in the UK, and then sold to Pakistan to be literally ruined , mind boggling. Makes my blood boil...
If these world-famous "super high skilled professionals" are lucky, someone will import the first broom to Pakistan. After that, they only need some devolpement aid workers teaching them how to use it.
Spoken like someone who has not been to or worked at a production job shop before. The working conditions of that shop are not much different that many small to medium size production job shops that I have visited and or worked in over the years.
Their equipment is broken because of the way they are abusing it. These machines are pretty much industry standard for the work they are performing, the only real thing I see that they are lacking is modern measuring equipment and enough cutting lubricant to be used adequately. Well, that is what they lack by way of equipment, the lack of training is another story that I doubt is their fault.
No sense of care for their own safety, no pride in their workplace, no care for their machines. Of they did they would be waering appropriate safety equipment and they would keep their workplace e clean. And they definitely would clean and .maintain their machines. No excuse its just laziness
That is because they aren't skilled machinists or even well trained operators. They seem to be laborers that are trained to a specific task, weld this to this in this area, load this on this machine and cut till it is like this. There are no spec sheets anywhere to be seen, no measurement instruments. They are centering their work using and old surface gauge point technique which was standard ages ago and about the only thing in the video that qualifies for the 100 year old technology title.
Отличная работа :)
Уровень мастерства высокий!🎉
Who needs a dial indicator when a bent wire will do?

Винт и гайка поперечной подачи у него смазываются стружкой. 😢
What is the name of the person in the video wearing Adidas clothes? I like his work and how he works!
I see why these poor people can do this so cheaply, no safety no type of organization, old broken equipment, TERRIBLE working conditions!
No safety glasses.

Only have themselves to blame. Its 202, speaking up and saying something isn't a crime
