I have these exact stabilizers in a complete set, long rod, short rod and adjustable v-bar.
Coming from a cheap set of SF Axiom stabilizers, these were awesome. No flex on the long rod with 8 oz on the front; the old one would sag a little and would wobble a lot when aiming. Decently stiff and looks great. The rods have 5oz on them: 4oz on the end, and 1oz acting as a transition between the damper and rod end cap. I now have my stabilizers setup with 5oz on each side and 6oz in the front.
Does really well shooting in the wind. Where I shoot, we're pretty close to the ocean (around 200m or so away) and it gets really windy. I get blown around a lot less than the old stabilizers that I used.
I got the complete set because it bothers me not having matched long/short rods and v-bar. I have 30" on the front with 15" on the sides. I have a 28.75" draw length but they didn't have the 28" in stock. These rods come in 28-30-32 for the long rod and 10-12-15 for the short rods. Adjustable v-bar is okay, heavy and solidly built.
My only gripes with it is the bright yellow branding and the rubber dampers on it. At 4oz on the end, they're too stiff to provide adequate dampening. You would need at least 6oz on the far side of the damper to really get it to flex and absorb shock. I replaced the long rod damper with a W&W ACS damper, and the side rods with a pair of Mybo silicone dampers. The long rod uses the ACS for better dampening at the cost of lower weight up front (6oz down from 8oz). The side rods are using the Mybo damper because I don't want the weight on the side rods to stick out too far, nor do I want to run side rods without a damper; The Mybo dampers were around half the length of the Tec X Maxx dampers so I settled on those.
After a lot of deliberation and reviewing of Steven's video, I've pulled the trigger on a Topoint Reliance compound bow kit. It'll come with the whole accessory package including the stabilizers. The kit normally comes with 30" long and 12" short. I've asked to upgrade to 15" on the short, hopefully I get those and I can do a 1:1 comparison between the two.
If anyone is interested, I'll update this comment when I get the Topoint kit. The kit will probably arrive around end of Feb or early March.

Avalon make amazing products for the price. I have the tech X 3D pro on my hunting bow and they cost next to nothing and are stiff, light and the dampener works fantastically as you mentioned. Def recommend!

I bought a long rod on the strength of this review, I normally have a WINWIN set on but wanted to try something thinner for windy conditions. The quality & stiffness for this price point is excellent. It might just be "new kit" syndrome but my impression was that my grouping was slightly better going on the scores. Well worth consideration and it's proved to me that I don't need to spend top dollar on my gear. Thank you Archery Supplies....

Looks good. I see people recommending them a lot. I've got the Topoint Top-X Pro's for my compound and I like those but the Shrewd Revels for my recurve are fantastic.

I shoot a full set of these on my PSE Citation target compound, they replaced a set of Beestingers that had got damaged. The waiting time for the Shrewd replacements I ordered was 16 weeks so I bought these as a temporary replacement set. After using them I cancelled the order for the Shrewds and have shot these all summer and see no reason to replace them. I have replaced the dampeners with my Doinker EXOs.

Funnily enough I was contacted by a rep from a Chinese company and they had an equivalent rod to these Avalon's (which I did own when they first came out, thought they were quite good BUT I think some internal glue came off causing a small rattle and the labelling is a bit meh). Anyway, this rep said they made the rods for Avalon🤔
For the money these are definitely a good pick.

Not going say anything bad, it is just how it worked for me and what I don't like personally - price is really good, thin, but unfortunately I felt vibration really often. Now I have Axcel carbon flax 500 and love it. but for this price-range there is no stabilisers on the market as Tec X.

Would have been interesting to see your reaction to it with your normal (extra) weight
How many of the world class shooters actually pay for the $500 stabilizer or arrows ?

You can basically buy everthing from Avalon blindly. Their Products are excellent for the price you pay.

Avalon are owned/made by Topoint, so yeah they're probably virtually the same as the top-x pro.

Isn't Avalon owned by SSA? I think it's Topoint that makes products for Avalon, not necessarily own Avalon.
