These companies want to make money. The remanufactured sensors use the module from an old sensor.

It depends on if that is the problem, Sometimes it can also be related to the harness or something else in the emissions system. What code are you getting on your truck?

When sensor replaced, do I need to preform a forced regen ?

Yes you would need to do a learned data reset and a forced regen to make sure all the timers are reset in the ECM.

Some trucks may require you to do a reset so that all parameters are reset.
