Was good with all of them this time. The right winner in my opinion. Next time, Penthouse and Pavement by Heaven 17 from 1981

It's Fastball all over again! 😆
    Ah well, disagree.
I guess I don't mind overdriven guitars! 🤷‍♂ ("Run, Baby, Run" is one of my favorite Garbage songs... and "Metal Heart" is just fine, thank you! 😤)
Honestly, you might prefer the B-sides disc to the main attraction - more variety!
Sadly wasn't able to investigate the others this time, but now I'm intrigued by all three!
How about Time Passages by Al Stewart next?

04… Garbage - Bleed Like Me (2005)… Bleed Like Me, Happy Home… I like the fact that Garbage do have different soundscapes… I have heard all their albums but I’m not overly familiar with any of them… From what I have heard this is probably the album that I like least by them… I find this mid 2000’s rock stuff a little meh!! and for me it does very little… As we all know when it comes to music we all like what we like, there are no right or wrongs, I am not going to knock anyone’s taste, if it makes them happy then power to them... This may be in last position but I still think that it’s ok, just a little bland (even if only to me), it still has some tracks that I like very much though… 3*...
03… Prelude To Ecstasy - The Last Dinner Party (2024)… On Your Side, Beautiful Boy, Portrait of a Dead Girl, Nothing Matters… … At the moment this album is 50/50, It’s a decent listen but not an album that I would probably revisit… ‘Nothing Matters’:- Chefs Kiss (I’d heard this before in passing and assumed it was an old song), I’m not sure if it sounds like something else, I feel that I have known it all my life… 4*...
02… Chris Isaak - Silvertone (1985)… Dancin', Voodoo, Funeral In the Rain, Talk To Me, Pretty Girls Don't Cry, Western Stars… I think that it is a very pretty good debut … I prefer the Baja Sessions album version of ‘Back On Your Side’ from 1996 far more (It’s pretty rare for me to prefer re-do’s but I did hear some of the ‘Baja’ versions first)… The Baja Session album is probably the first Isaak album that I personally would reach for (it just fits with me best), I omitted it due to the songs being covers and re-recordings… The same can be said of ‘Pretty Girls Don’t Cry’, I do prefer the re-recorded version from ‘Baja’ but in this case I like both very much… I really wanted to put Chris Isaak forward at some stage but I struggled with what album to choose, all the albums are good up until 2002’s ‘Always Got Tonight’, at least in my opinion but they all have tracks that do little for me, alternatively they all contain some of Chris’s best work… When at his best I love Chris Isaak but he is firmly an artist that I would rather make my own compilations and playlists and just listen with a smile on my face… ‘Baja’ has a great cover of Orbison’s ‘Only The Lonely’… I read somewhere that Chris met with Roy and offered him ‘Wicked Game’… Roy liked it but thought that Chris should record it himself, I adore ‘Wicked Game’ by Chris, it’s an all timer, though I would have loved to have heard a Roy Orbison take on it ( I’m not absolutely certain that this is true though)… I am more than aware of all of Isaak’s albums and as said I like them all up until and including ‘Always Got Tonight’, unusually all of those would receive a similar score from myself… 4*…
01… 10cc - The Original Soundtrack (1975)… I’m Not In Love, The Film Of My Love, The Second Sitting For The Last Supper, Channel Swimmer, Flying Junk, Life is a Minestrone… I grew up with 10cc, their singles and Best Of albums but had never really listened to more than a couple of studio albums, I couldn’t tell you which ones though… I would put then in a similar bracket to Queen and just like Queen I would pick and choose what I like and would make a very good playlist of 20 to 40 songs… Just like Queen, that playlist would only sit there gathering dust for the most part… 4.5*… A very good album though and an easy win…

@@ste.6026 I randomly watched Silence of the Lambs over the weekend and was delighted to see Chris Issak playing the SWAT team leader.
