Thank you! The potential for the peacefulness of our future is the ongoing transition to the "no pass zone" that Helena brought to our attention.

A lecture becomes dry if it is simply a reading instead of direct speech

    What is madame Blavatsky's significance?
How has she changed the course of history?
Is she elevated so highly because she hated monotheism ( patriarchy, white supremacy, heterosexual normative)

"For better or worse" has yet to be written, but Blavatsky is significant precisely because she changed the course of history. When you consider what evolved (mutated) from the Early days of the Theosophical Movement and Society, who was influenced, and in what way (family lines from the current ruling/"elite" class from around the world can traced back to having knowledge and training in Theosophical principles), what organizations/societies were created and for what purpose...(and on and on). Blavatsky's influence (or lack thereof) on others created a whole new timeline, she was that influential, and where we find ourselves today, in this world (right now), can be directly traced to her teachings and to those that were drawn to them. Lest we forget what occurred after HPB passed; as infighting and desire for power took over the Theosophical Society and many of the former students of Blavatsky. Who was now teaching "Theosophy" and to whom? Where did those people who learned from "inferior" teachers (post HPB) who as students desired to "Learn the powers latent in men" end up? Where did all of those people go? Private sector? Public sector? Into the forests and caves of the world?
Let me end by saying that i have tried my best to remain neutral in my analysis of why Blavatsky is significant. Having studied Theosophy (and Anthroposophy, and Vedanta, and some Buddhism and christianity) she has been an influence on my life. And i am grateful for that influence.
And i recognize what i consider "flaws" in her teachings (and/or perhaps "how" she taught) as well.
      So there's that.
So basically, "Just one dude's opinion".

All excellent questions! Was she a 'body positivity' advocate? She was an abject plagiarist...

@@ZknwlfThat was an issue frequently raised, yet has time again been disproven respectively with relative ease. Even the honorable Japanese Zen Buddhist scholar and philosopher D.T. Suzuki, despite his great puzzlement, came not only to admire her struggle and life's work but acknowledged the only reasonable explanation for her having displayed such profound learning, particularly an elevated grammatical style and effortless grasp of Sanskrit language, was that she indeed visited Tibet and further meditated on the mysteriously sublime and otherworldly manuscripts as she initially claimed was revealed to her during her orient sojourn.

"patriarchy, white supremacy, heterosexual normative" what does any of that have to do with monotheism?
